The PlayStation 4 is a great console overall. With immersive graphics and rich in detail this certainly makes the PlayStation 4 the best place to play.

The PS4 is really good. I like it a lot. Like all consoles (unfortunately) there were day one issues, but that was expected. The graphics the console is capable of are really slick. The OS is much improved, but there are some things missing that the PS3 had that I thought this should have come with (CD playback/MP3 Playback/Ability to stream your own content from the PS4 as if it were a home server on the network). The game line up felt a little weak, but the games I did get are fantastic (NBA 2k14 - you seriously have to see this.. Ghosts, and Skylanders). As the patches and features continue to roll in, this will be the better console.

I purchased both the Xbox One and then later the PS4. At this point, I am enjoying the PS4 more. The graphics are better. Free games with PS Plus. The console is a lot slicker looking than the Xbox One. I have never been a PS Fanboy but that might change soon.

I've been using my ps4 for the last week, and the new controllers are amazing, a great upgrade to the ps3 controllers. I couldnt find any complaints on them. The set up was easy. I've been playing Kill zone 4 and I didnt get any glitches with the game or the console. Its sucks not to be able to play my ps3 games in the ps4 console, so now i have to keep both consoles, and its kind of annoying!!!

Ps4 overall is a great gaming system ramped up from the ps3. Being able to interact with your friends, family, and other gamers adds to the fun and excitement of what it's suppose to do. Although I'm going to have to get use to of having to pay to play online. I would easily recommend this product to anyone. The controller battery life I find dies rather quickly. Something sony should look into.

The ps4 provides the most complete gaming system, I bought both Xbox one and ps4 and I only play my ps4 it is by far the only true next gen system I love the graphics and the touchpad on the controller. In comparison the ps4 is the system for a true gamer it is very advanced there is a noticeable difference between the graphics on Xbox one 720p vs ps4 1080p. The ps4 is my go to system if choice

The end result is that Sony made a system that is user friendly, simply xmb, all games so far are 1080p. I have to give this system five stars especially over its predecessor and Xbox one. 1.84 teraflops of computing power with fast download times and exceptional graphics over Xbox one!! Own both current gen systems and I have to say Sony is the winner in this current gen of gaming hands down!!

I have been a Sony fan for the longest time but after my PS3 got the yellow light of death I got an Xbox 360 with kinect. When no found out the PS4 was coming out I had to have it and since I bought it glad that I did because it is everything that I want on a gaming console and more. The graphics are much better and it is a lot quicker than the older consoles. A list have for any serious gamer.

Have to say I love my PS4. I played cod ghosts on my ps3 for weeks, then I got a ps4. You can see differences in how the game runs and the graphics. It's nice to be able to actually see the differences and realize how much better the game looks on the new console. My biggest complaint right now has more to do with psn. I loved that it was free, it was great to play online games you buy and not have to pay extra fees to actually play online. I hate that Sony bought into that bull and now we pay. When they brought playstation plus it was optional but now in order to play killzone and battlefield (examples) online you have to have ps+.

I was a XBOX guy. I absolutely love the controller and User interface! A great buy!

Getting PlayStation Plus with this (or your PS3, PSvita) is my first recommendation. Free games for all your systems every month plus other discounts. I picked up a 1-year subscription for $35 on Black Friday (retail is $50). I'm a big fan of the controller. My phone can be used as a controller as well with the PlayStation App (not ideal, but still great for navigating the home screen, etc).

Wow, great system. Playing COD Ghost/Killzone and can tell difference between PS3. The PS Vita link is what should have been with PS3. No issues with system. Only issue I have is not with system but Sony not giving backwards cap on any PS1,2, or 3 games. But system is Awesome can't wait for more games to come.....

Nice system I wouldn't say its very user friendly. Its a little tough updating the system from a "USB port" its nowhere near as easy as to doing it on the PS3. The system has a few downfalls like the inability to download your personal music, photos, media and screen savers. Unlike its predecessor you can do all of that. But the graphics and hardware of the system is great. The controls feels good and the system now runs natively at 1080p and games frame rate is smooth at 60fps. The animation is very detailed and lifelike. I really wish Sony would have not did some of the drawbacks from the PS3. Overall, its a great system.

I bought the Xbox One and its a decent console but I wanted to give the PS4 a try too. The PS4 gets the job done & seems to be a better gaming console. However, I did switch over form Xbox 360 to PS4 so if Grand Theft Auto 5 was to come it would be a bit disappointing cause i would have to start all over though.

The short time I spent with my ps4 was great. I had to update the firmware on my tv so the display was perfect (and after the update it WAS perfect). Super easy and super fast to set up. I spent a good couple hours playing Resogun, which is a great game (free for ps+ members). The graphics were truly great for a next gen console. The only problem was that after those couple hours, it overheated and would freeze constantly. My unit was defective in this regard. The number of defective units is tiny, however. And Sony is replacing mine as soon as they get my defective one in the mail. I give 4 instead of 5 stars because of the defect.

Early adopter syndrome. So far it's been great. My system plays some amazing games. It's not bricked *crosses fingers* and the games are photo realistic like NBA 2K14 and Madden 25. This is only taste of what's coming. Can't wait for Destiny, God of War IV, Gran Turismo 6, Metal Gear Solid, Dying Light....... Yeah and that's only what's been announced. Somehow Xbox One ain't looking too good.

The obvious choice this gen for the following reasons: Better specs, free games (with a PS+ membership), better controller, and all for $100 cheaper than the competition. The best rated sports game on the previous gen is an exclusive PS3/PS4 title (MLB The Show 14). Also, Killzone is an amazing exclusive title!

How can you go wrong getting a PS4. Nice design, nice interface, awesome graphics!

I have had my runs with the 1st PlayStation, and the 2nd. I skipped the 3rd one so it has been awhile. Got this last week with Tome Raider, and Need For Speed. What a difference from generation 2, to now. Amazing is the only word. Can't wait for Gran Torismo. I see by the reviews most everybody is having fun.

When I first got it and brought it home it worked fine for about 15 mins, then it shut off and no longer worked, but wait, There's More!!!! After I sent it to Sony (both them and bestbuy worked to fix the situation) and got a new one in less than a week it works tirelessly and flawlessly, was I deterred at first? You betchya, but it was worth it in the end. Best. Console. Available. PERIOD
