Overall, this is a great update to the PS line of consoles. THE GRAPHICS!!!!! OMG. I don't have the XBOX one so I have no comparisons there. This product as great. I did get a few disconnects on the controller but in general, this unit has worked great and gave many hours of enjoyment.

PS 4 is a great gaming console. Although more limited in features than the XBOX ONE, the amazing graphics make it stand alone. The new Dualshock 4 controller is a big improvement over the Dualshock 3.

I pre ordered my console when it was first announced and I was a little hesitant, but I'm happy I did. The PS menu was improved and is now easier to use, I like the fact that now you can download game/system updates while still playing. Great graphics I just hope more games come out soon.

Of all the people complaining about getting bricked consoles or just not working shortly after powering on I was a bit worried but everything works as it should and exceeded my expectations. I recommend you upgrade from the PS3 you wont regret it. The graphics on Killzone are amazing now I look forward releases that can truly utilize the PS4 power. Happy gaming!

It is a great system. The hardware is fast, graphics great.It is a shame that accessories are expensive. A second controller is a small fortune right now, and the game selection at the moment and what is due out soon that is announced is not very varied. I am sure a lot will be coming down the pike. Sony systems usually get a lot of companies bringing out games.

Pre-ordered and can honestly the investment has been well worth and I've only played one game so far; Killzone! COD is next and possibly Battlefield thereafter, but I can't complain about the speed to load, pause, close application, etc. . . . It's great! The graphics are beyond sick and when friends ask "can you tell the difference vs. ps3?" the answer is YES.

The console itself has a nice shape and size, and it's not heavy. Dualshock has gotten great improvements, my favorite being that the thumbsticks are now farther apart than they were on DS3. It's incredible how the console records your last 15 minutes of playtime. Some games seem to be a little slow on startup. I plan to use a hybrid drive for faster speeds.

The play station 4 is the greatest gaming system i have bought over the past couple of years. The graphics and feel of the controller is amazing and nothing has come close to being this great. The games and how is reacts so amazingly is the best thing ever. The look of the ps4 is so amazing and how they designed all the components that make it up is just great!

The Playstation 4 is great! Good graphics and nice design. Have not used all it's features yet but for what I have used it is great! The tv options are good and the gaming part of it just keeps getting better. At points it feels or looks like you are sitting in the game. It's a good ungraded, I only wish there was some backward comparability with the PS3 games.

System is well worth the $400. Graphics are amazing and speed is very fast. I played both the PS4 and Xbox One. Both are good systems but I like the PS4 better due to the exclusives that will be coming out and the set up is a little better. Next Gen is here! If you into gaming then get a PS4 if you are into speaking to your system to watch TV get the Xbox One.

As an avid Sony product lover for over 25 yrs, from the Walkman, to the desktop boom box, I've enjoyed the growth of Sonys products. From the PS1,2,3 & now 4. The PS4 is a game changer in the gaming world. Which also includes all other key functions for music, movies, web, etc. If you don't have one, go get yourself one & experience all that Sony has to offer.

Aside from not being able to play PS3 games on the PS4 I can't say anything bad. The game play speed, graphics, and sound have all been improved dramatically from the PS3. Can't wait for Uncharted 4! I'm really hoping they remaster the original ones so I can play them again on the PS4.

The PS4 is one of the best consoles to Own. I would choose this console over any other. It has a beautiful design and a nice fitted controller, unlike the Xbox one that's big and bulky it looks like one of the old desktops That was built in the 1990's and the remote control itself is the size of a keyboard. Trust me the PS4 is the way to go Greatness Awaits.

I'm impressed with the dualshock 4 wireless controller with the micro usb charge port the battery life on it Is great. Ironically the 500Gb hard drive may not be enough for those gamers who play a lot of games on the regular considering the install req. On all the games.If you can look past that, it's a great system so fa r, not to mention the crisp graphics

A great console if you want great graphics with social features. A little glitchy here and there but that should be eared up soon. After all it did just come out 1 week previous to this review. 11/22/13 Overall, definitely worth the $400, it runs games greatly and is really Fun to play with friends, party chat is my favor ties new feature. Worth every penny!

I have had PS2 and PS3, but the PS4 Graphics are outstanding. The great thing also is that you don't have to use the game disk to update the game it is already on the system itself, so that is another great thing about the PS4.

After 7 years of ps3, this system improves on it in every way. From the controller to the os, everything is catered to being the only and best gaming machine. With the eventual games from naughty dog and sony Santa Monica, there's no telling how great this console will end up being.

Long time playstation player and overall it's just AWESOME each game is so real. NBA 2k just about ooks like TNT games on Thursday night, facial expressions and movement. The biggest things I notice with the games is the physics, the sports games no longer feel so arcade, it is sooooo real. Great system and love the new controllers also! Must have system!

First of all, the bundle was to much money at $1000. This included the system, 2 games, extra controller, $130 gamer club (20% off games for 2yr), 2 12month ps+ cards ($50each). Who needs 2!? Also bought 1 extra game. Overall, this just isn't worth switching from ps3. Controller is cool, graphics are good. Iatrr bought the ps camera, there are no games that utilize this yet. You can play pong in the play room and that's about it! BF4 for the ps4 has serious issues that are being worked out. For 3 days, I couldn't even play it. An update is supposed to be available soon!

in our first week, we've had a great time playing Knack in co-op mode, Flower, Contrast, and Just Dance 2014. The new controller is an amazing improvement over the already good PS3 controller, with noticeably "tighter" controls -- especially noticeable in Flower and Killzone: Shadow Fall. I was delighted that the new PlayStation Camera lets us play without any Move controllers, and it's tracking of our body movements is quite accurate. The microphones in the camera let us use voice commands to start games and even shutdown the PS4, which works extremely well out of the box with no training. I was even more delighted that my Move controllers work with the PS4, allowing me to navigate menus and the store in ways I can't on the PS3. I'm extremely excited to play EyePet, Start the Party, WonderBook, and other augmented reality titles on the PS4 in the coming year. I think that 3D AR games that display in 3D will be a killer app for the PS4. The party chat, video sharing, and other social features all work great. There are some limitations, such as not getting @ name completion when tweeting, or friend name completion when posting to Facebook. Remote play on the Vita (we love our Vita!) is quite finicky due to the Vita's currently inferior WiFi radio firmware. Even though our iPhone can get 10mbps upstairs, the Vita only gets 4mbps. Right now, Remote Play only works really well when the Vita is quite close to the Wifi access point. I was able to use it successfully from work and play Trine 2, but I'd say the Remote Play feature is more of a beta at this point. Note that if your house is smaller, it may work great for you! Some non-gaming nits: PS4 currently doesn't play the MP3 game soundtracks I previously bought from PSN, my 3D bluray movies currently don't play, and the PS4 currently doesn't connect to the same Plex media server our PS3 does. The PS4 web browser is a great improvement over the ps3 browser, but is missing some HTML5 features that the Vita browser has (see html5test.com), and doesn't appear to hardware accelerate anything leading to extremely poor framerates in simple html5 demos and games (like the IE fishbowl demo). The web browser built into our Panasonic TV performs better, which is disappointing. Overall, it's a promising start and I'm excited to see the new games and improvements as they come. Sony heard everyone loud and clear that they should focus on gaming first, and that's exactly what they've done. if you wait 6 months to buy, I'll bet all my nits will be resolved.
