Quiet fan operation which shows the development team addressed cooling issues experienced with ps3. Super fast boot, and very good settings out of the box. Game content is limited, but one can find a few gems in the current launch games. Biggest detractor? PS4 not backwards comparable with ps3 games.

This system is by far one of my favorite systems sony has made. Right now the games are so so but the graphics are phenomenal ! When everything is working the system is blazing fast! Online gameplay has stepped up immensely. I no longer find myself wishing I just bought COD or any online game for xbox . I've experienced online lag three times and I've had this system since day one! The other thing I just love about this system is the controller it feels so good in your hands I've never once felt totally comfortable with a controller xbox was too awkward and playstation was too small and misshapen; the new dual shock fixes all of my issues check other peoples reviews the controller is just ridiculously comfortable. All in all I feel this system is the best one out there right now. A little sad playstation eye didn't get included or was more of an after thought but it's still not that important to me. Also the display lacks imagination and just looks like a bunch of doody thrown randomly the choice to remove the game folder irritates me, but that's just a personal preference.

When my companion and I take breaks from saving Earth and the human race, we play on our PS4. I have the Wii U, and a PS2 and PS3. Personally I am not a big XBOX fan, but I love the sleek design and thought that went into both the construction and power of this impressive machine. After the untimely death of the PS3, I was more than happy with the newly regenerated PS4. My favorite thing is pretty surprising, I love this controller, the new duel shock 4 that comes with the console is quite possibly the best controller I have used to date. Impressive all around, and HIGHLY recommended. Sorry, time to fly, have a universe to save, good playing!

PS4 has a great amount of upgrades from the PS3 they didn't skimp on the upgrades to the machine from graphic ability to the joystick speakers that draw you into the game play!!

A great gaming console for video gamers. I like the interface design. There is a lot things you can do the with the PS4 console. It will display all your recent activities in social profile. The PS4 controller is amazing, you can turn on the PS4 Console by pressing the PS button. Not only that the light indicator will change color, when your playing a game, when your controller needs to be charge, or your system is stand-by mode. There are some drawbacks in the PS4. One I notice that, there is no power switch on the video game console. That means can turn on the system by accident, by pressing the on button or the PS button on your controller, so you may have to unplug it. Secondly the PS4 does not support any 3D content. You can play 3D movies on the PS3, but not on the PS4. And finally the PS4 does not come with a owner's manuel. You may have to print it online the playstation website to get the owner's manuel. I feel that a owner's manuel should be included. I think that Sony did this to save money on paper, so they make that you to get it digitally.

I just came back to the ps world. I must say sony done a great job with this one.. The graphics are amazing. The price is worthy too. Wish it came with a game or extra controller

I had a 360 before this and man I'm so glad I made the switch and didn't buy xbox one. Fresh start with the ps4 and still kept my 360 for Xbox games. I recommend this to everyone.

The system was easy to setup. It also has great graphics. The system also acts a blue ray player or you can watch movies on Netflix, Hulu plus or red box if you have memberships.

So far the next gen is amazing, and so is this console. I have not put it down yet and I will continue to use it for years to come

This system is worth the upgrade! Pros: Much better graphics New gen games (it's really cool what they've done to be innovative with the games on this new console) The new features with the PS4 controller ( you can use the aux on your headphone to attach to your ps4 controller if you have to keep the noise down while gaming and it sounds awesome on Bose headphones) CONS You still have to use Sony headphones made for PS4 to have mic option (no way around this) To play ANY game online you gotta buy the Playstation plus fee (49.99$ for 1 yr) Even though I have to start paying to play online I think this system is worth buying

This system is great. It is user friendly and easier to use the other systems. I do not like the battery life of the controllers and that the light on the controller stays on.

This console is a great step ahead from the PS3 (wonderful as it is), though it is not compatible with the PS3 gaming, it's incredibly fast, has a good amount of GB to spare, and comes with an easier design than the previous one (doesn't scratch as easily). The graphics are so detailed that you could almost confuse yourself thinking it's real, just like the sound system and the new control. It's beautiful and has a good array of games that are coming into the market. Overall a great way to start the year.

The PS4 is the premier system recently released by Sony. A huge step up from the PS3, it outclasses the Wii U & is much more affordable & centered for gaming than the Xbox One!

This product receives my approval and I have noticed no defects. It functions exactly as advertised. I would recommend this product.

Would definitely recommend purchasing this console. Very powerful. Cool design. Definite upgrade from PS3. Shame that no camera is included as it's not in stock anywhere yet.

Great graphics, Much better than the PS3. Love the new controller (except for the battery life). I've had every system since PS1, never been an X-box fan so yes, I am biased.

The PS4 is great. The games have great clarity and are very realistic. The console itself is great too. I'm just waiting for PlayStation to release more features,right now I can do more with my PS3. Also games are bigger, around 49gb so I recommend upgrading the hard drive to 2tb, it's very easy to do, even a novice can install it. All in all.. I love it.

The system is very sleek and is not to heavy. Beautiful graphic and amazing speed. The monthly subscription is not to bad neither especially if you have multiple psn systems.

The playstation 4 marks sony's return as the reigning king of console gaming. Both myself and my little brother have purchased the ps4 and have only experienced minor software bugs that seem to have vanished following the most recent firmware update. Everything runs incredibly smoothly and snappy it's a complete improvement over the ps3. The only drawback at the moment is the lack of games but 2014 looks like it will be a great year for this next gen console, couldn't be happier! I recommend this to anyone, even if you pc game as the ps4 offers a unique experience, it's fresh and innovative and ready for hours of enjoyment.

This device is fantastic. I used to be an Xbox person, but the Xbone left me cold. As sales results have demonstrated, the decision I made to abandon Xbox's sinking ship was a good one. The PS4 exceeds it a number of technical and performance aspects. Additionally, Sony developed a product that gamers wanted. there were no needless features added and they designed their software to be able to handle 1080 for every game that wanted to reach that resolution. Microsoft overcharged for an "entertainment" console and has had to backtrack in order to make sales while Sony's excellent product puts their Xbone to shame.
