This box is sick i love it..i still rock the ps3 but this gens games look crisp.. im replaying modern classics like last of us, gta5, and tomb raider, just because its that awesome.!!! Test of time, will say if this thing will develop issues, I'm on my 3rd ps3 since the cool 60gb with backward compatability, and on 3rd xbox 360, since elite... I have no problem A/B the two(ps3 vs ps4) games to see just how much better they are..It has actually become a topic of conversation since i bought it...

I have been a long time fan and player of the playstation. The ease of use is great and the online play is fantastic. The blue ray play of movies is beyond what I was expecting. The controller takes a little getting use to but not so much of an inconvenience. Limited game options is a bummer but I am sure there will be plenty soon enough. Games from Playstation Plus are nice as an alternative. Over all this game system has once again impressed me and I am very happy with my decision to upgrade to the 4.

Great console. Made me change my mind about 0 laying xbox 1 any longer. It has way too many glitches. This has been flawless.

This console has so many features that it's hardto really know the in and outs of it. I've had it for a year and I still don't know how to use all of the features, but I'm stil, working on it. It's a great buy!

I absolutely LOVE my new PS4! it is faster than my PS3 and the graphics are MUCH better. Just wish it was backwards compatible.

This is a great product. In my opinion much better than the Xbox One. Outside of the connect, the Xbox is just a poor copy of the Playstation. The new controller was tough to get used to after avid gaming on the PS3, but I am happy with the new set up of both the controller and the new PS Menu screen. The graphics are amazing and the game play is responsive and seamless. Already being a member of PS+, there wasn't a big change for me with online gaming, purchasing, and in-game purchasing but I do believe that Sony should have left the option for free online gameplay. I believe that was one of the greatest advantages of PS3 over Xbox 360.

Not being a real genius when it comes to electronics it took me much too long to figure out how to turn the machine on. The instructions show a circle with the vertical line to show power button and says touch the power button but there is done. It is just a slot in the machine that you touch. Once I figured that out the rest of the problems were mine.

I'm a PS fan for years. Was waiting for the PS4 and wanted to see if they would come out great with the competition. I like the new design and features. The controller looks nice I like the pad on the middle. My husband is loving it.

Great upgrade from ps3. Faster and better graphics. Works great for amazon prime and vudu accounts to watch movies through.

I have bought every PlayStation console at launch since the PS1 so i knew it wouldn't be any different this time, although this time i must admit I am a bit disappointed with the launch lineup. Killzone was a huge letdown from the Killzone titles on the PS3; and the only other retail games that were out were pretty much sports games and shooters. Resogun is a good time killer but im still waiting for the killer game that feels like it couldnt be done on the PS3. As far as the system goes it looks sleek and I love the fact that they utilized the same power cord plug in as the PS3. I keep one in my living room and one in my loft and its nice being able to move them back and forth simply by changing out the machine and not unplugging anything from the wall or TV. I have all of my cords run behind my walls so that is a very nice feature, and saved me from having to buy a second power cord. The controller is also a huge step up from the PS3 controller in my opinion. Its bulkier in a good way and just feels a bit sturdier and fits in my hand better. The touch pad is a bit big for my liking but until there are games that use it well it will be hard to tell my thoughts on that. The triggers feel a bit nicer as well, overall i like the controller but dont like that they changed the charge port to not be compatible with the PS3 charge cords. My biggest gripe is the new redefined XMB. I can appreciate waht they are trying to do by making it a bit nicer and more streamlined and in some way they succeed but it just seems a bit messy for me. It could be that im just not used to it but it seems a bit cluttered already and its only going to get worse as i get more content. I would like a bit more organization and bit more options for customization to allow us to put things where we want. Overall i gave it 5 stars because my gripes are all tied to things that can and likely will be improved over time, they are the costs you pay for buying a console at launch.

This console is amazing. I have no other words for it, it just blows my mind every time I use it. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is cohesive (I bought Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with it, and it's just... Wow) and flows very well, no lagging, fast loading (HUGE improvement from the PS3) and the controller feels great! I love the thing, and I'd never trade it for anything. Definitely worth it. Oh, and the ability to share, take screenshots and videos, that's pretty awesome, too.
