I'm a huge fan of the playstation consoles and have had my PS3 for over three years now. After getting my PS4 a month ago, I can see a huge difference with the way it performs. The new controller feels much more comfortable in my hands than the previous one since to joysticks are indented and the controller itself is larger. Also, the graphics are amazing and the home screen is easy to navigate. And the exclusives so far have been great! I would definitely recommend this to any gamer.

The next gen is here and it feels like it. The Ps4 comes into my household as a nice addition to my gaming cabinet. It looks great with a slim form factor and doesn't take up much valuable real estate. It runs quietly and performs smoothly. Playing a lot of the launch titles at a high resolution with smooth frame rate and beautiful graphics, just what you'd expect from a next gen system. It has the capability to suspend apps and resume very quickly, allows for background downloading of games and you can begin playing them shortly after starting the download, no longer do you have to wait for the entire download and install to play a game, which is just wonderfully amazing. The UI is great, it's simple and easy to navigate, it's just in time we're all going to need a solution so that the menus don't become a mess, there seems to be no organization to it, as it just tiles the games you've played recently across the main menu, I forsee a time when I'll have to dig around to find what I'm looking for and may even forget what games I have on the system. I'm sure this can be corrected in future updates. The other thing I found missing from launch that I was really excited about, is the ability to suspend games when I'm done playing and then instantly resume where I was the next time I'm playing, this is what they were talking about at E3 when they said you can go right into the games, I've read this will come, but I was disappointed when they didn't have this and the competition does at launch. The Ps4 is concentrating on the gamer and this is great! but a little more overall media love would've been great, I'm waiting on an hbo go app so I can ditch the 360 and I'm waiting for some 3d bluray support so I can ditch my ps3, I'd like to move the last gen outta the living room and so would my wife. But it's only the beginning and if the transformation that we saw with updates in the last gen systems is any indicator, we are all in for some great entertainment!

I surprised my fiancé on his birthday with a PS4. He's been talking about getting one for months. He already had the PS3 but he wanted to upgrade. I like that it can be used as a blue ray player

I purchased the ps4 fully expecting to buy every accessory to push my bill to $700. I only had to buy the camera, an EXTRA controller, and the subscription for a year. My bill for the 500 gig was $500. I was able to download free games that are actually fun such as DONT STARVE. I could upgrade certain games to the ps4 from the ps3 for only $9.99. I was pleased that the graphics were great, the accessibility is simplistic, and the fun factor is high. I now know why we had to wait so long.

The new PS4 system is the best yet! Graphics, performances, and etc! Can't get any better! Oh Yeah, its only $399.00 =)

I brought the PS4 for my man cave and I've enjoyed it very much.

This is a great console, with greater computing power than the xbox one. With further game development we should be able to see a difference in graphics and potential in favor of the PS4. The controller sits nicely in your hand and responds well. The games look fantastic and the gameplay is great. The loading times have diminished immensely. The only bad thing is that it doesn't play 3D blurays as of yet, hoping for an update soon. But I still have my original 60 gb PS3 around for that.

Definitely glad I purchased the PS4 instead of the XBOX One. Graphics are more detailed and easy to set up the console.

The controller, hardware and operating system are fantastic. Games look good (and NBA 2K14 looks amazing), but there's nothing here most gamers NEED as of yet. This should change next year, and the PS4 will become a must-have.

Love the controllers. Great performance from the system. Wish the PS3 games that I love could also be used on the PS4.

this is the definition of a gaming machine. the third party apps are your basic ones i.e netflix, crunchyroll, amazon video, etc.. The blu ray feature works even if your not online which is a plus!

The graphics are much better and the controller is a bit better but expected more from the next generation.
