Very good device, hardware specks, easy to use, cool controler, nice looking games, lots of free stuff

Love the PS4, hopefully it'll live for 5-10 years like the last generation of consoles did. Really enjoying it so far. The only thing I don't like is the new DS4 controller has a pretty short battery life when compared to the DS3. I'm assuming this has to do with the light bar built into the controller which is pretty pointless in my opinion. The Li Ion battery in the controller is also nearly 1/4th of what's inside the DS3... odd choice.

After great personal debate between getting a PS4 or an Xbox one, Sony won the battle. The graphics are better than anticipated and the games look great on a 55" flat screen TV.

Better graphics than any previous system. More life-like. Controllers are great, easy to adapt to.

I had not planned on getting this system, I purchased the Xbox One first. After seeing MLB The Show 14 and some of the PS exclusive games coming out I couldn't resist. No regrets.

Nice quiet little box. I spent a day checking out the features. And downloading the latest freebies at my brothers house. I felt like the freebies could have played just as well on a ps3...or maybe even a ps2. (Missed Last of Us in December) . So now it has been sitting idle for 3 weeks...so far. I only have internet on my phone so online stuff does nothing for me. I like RPGs like skyrim, dragon age, kingdoms of amalur, etc. So i'm stuck waiting for Witcher3 in october or something . I'm sure that over the life cycle there will be numerous games worth buying. I have amassed maybe 15 games for ps3 and expect about the same for.ps4 eventually. I'd give 5 stars if it had backward compatibility.

Loved the upgrade from the ps3. Love the storage options and download capabilities from remote location. Playstation network has made improvements that are very consumer friendly

This system has amazing graphics! My only regret is that most of the games I am interested in are not out yet and that there aren't very many fantasy RPGs, but that's a common lack amongst all game systems since it's all about online play and first person shooters. I thought the controller might be strange to use since they've modified it, but it's still generally the same with some improvements that are easy to catch on to.

The PS4 is a great system, but I wish they could figure out a way to install the games quicker. It took over an hour to install 2kBasketball. Even after the game install, it took awhile to finally play the game. However, man did the game look great! I love being able to play the game through my Vita as well. using the touch pad on the vita as a trigger button doesn't work well, but better than nothing. The media usage isn't as developed as xbox (or even the ps3...), but I'm sure that will develop over time. If you are a more casual gamer or looking for multimedia, go xbox, but if your main purpose for this device is to play games, you can't go wrong with the ps4, just allow some time to play.

Great online experience. Been a long time xbox player and I have to say I like playstations layout better. Easier to navigate

I was originally an Xbox user until I recently purchased the PS4. I had not been impressed with the system before now, but I am liking all it has to offer. I am waiting for more games to come out until I can feel certain calling myself a PS enthusiast. Also, it should be noted that the camera comes separately. So...don't forget to buy that

There may not be many big releases out yet for this system, but it more than makes up for it in indie releases. It also acts as the best streaming media hub I've ever had.

Although it took me a couple of weeks and several trips to best buy to find one, I am very pleased with the PS4. I upgraded two generations from a PS2 and a Wii, so my expectations were not as high as someone else's might be, but I am pleased with the graphics and gameplay. Hopefully more games are on the way. The Playstation store is great too and I like that you can download demo versions of games with high functionality.
