Great console conveys next gen gaming!! Sleek look great gaming experience. Debated for awhil on xbox one or ps4 definetly made the right choice.

It's definitely worth the upgrade if you are looking to dump your ps3 or 360. The game selection is not great at the moment, but should be soon.

First impressions are always a pivotal role in console launches and PS4 does not fail to deliver. The hardware constantly delivers great performance however this software fails at certain point with glitches. As always with any new console launch there will be glitches and performance issues yet the PS4 hardware will deliver the native 1080 P in fantastic fashion. Two or three years down the road once developers have realized it's true potential the Ps4 will reign supreme. Plagued by critical error messages the PS4 would have received a five star rating Had there not been so many software issues at launch.

If you want the best 3rd party support and the best exclusives, then the PS4 is the console for you.

I actually bought the PlayStation 4 on whim when in Best Buy one day. I had told myself that I was going to wait for the price to drop, etc. I decided to take a chance and jump in early with the PlayStation 4. I am glad I did. I have owned all the other PlayStation systems (1, 2, & 3), Xbox & Xbox 360, Nintendo consoles (currently Wii U & 3DS) and I have a gaming PC as well. The PlayStation 4 does a lot right. It runs incredibly smooth, the OS is fast and snappy and the games look beautiful. I do not own a lot of games for it yet, but my library is growing and thanks to PlayStation Plus, you get a lot of smaller games for free that you may not check out otherwise. My only gripe with the PS4 is the PSN and hard drive size. I wish they would have redesigned the PSN or at least expanded the search capability. But, the PSN does a lot right and runs much smoother than the PlayStation 3. I would have though Sony and Microsoft would have included at least 1 TB, but I guess not. At least you can switch out the hard drives on the PlayStation 4. Which I may do in the future depending on how digital I go. Overall, Sony has knocked it out of the park with this system. Feels like the PlayStation 2 all over again for me. Really looking forward to the games that will be coming from developers in the near future.

I chose the PS4 over the Xbox One because it has better hardware. As many videos online have shown, the PS4 performs at a higher level than the Xbox One. My gripes so far: The controller is nice, but the charging cord is short. It comes with a small "headset", which allows voice chat. The headset isn't great, but it gets the job done if you don't need a quality set.

I have had my system for a little over a month now and it is working flawlessly with the exception of some slow load times for games. Other than that this has been a great purchase to date. I play mostly sports games and the graphics are great and the games are much more in depth on the next gen system. I would recommend this system to any of my gamer friends and family.

This is the first Playstation I've ever purchased. I have always played the XBOX, but I enjoy the gameplay and user interface. Great purchase!

Graphics are great great launch lineup and great price point win for sony

The only drawback and complaint I had with the ps3 was that the majority of their games were 720p,the ps4 solved that problem and then some.

This was a great buy and I"m eager to see where this next gen console will go. I'm playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag right now and the graphics are AMAZING and the loads times are very short. I only use this for games though. I don't really understand the share room or online play because I only play single player games. For what I do this console is worth the 400.

The PlayStation 4 is without a doubt the superior console in terms of hardware, however, many of the games can also be bought on the consoles two competitors, other than a few exclusives such as Knack and Killzone. Most of the console's exclusives are indie titles. Also, the Kinect is a far superior motion gaming accessory than the PlayStation Eye and Move. Xbox in particular also receives timed exclusive content for many Call of Duty and Battlefield games. Moreover, Xbox Live is a superior service, in my opinion and preference, to PlayStation Network, however both offer free digital content. I would still recommend this console to a friend however because I believe by the end of next year, Sony will release more first party games.

finally caved and got the ps4, and although I don't play it much, still very much worth the money

The ps4 is here and it's about time. If you want a next gen system, it's the one to choose. Of course the game selection isn't that big right now but with NBA2k14, Madden, COD: Ghost, Battlefield, Killzone, Resogun, and a few more, it's enough to hold you until more games come out like Infamous: Second Son and WatchDogs. The redesigned controller feels awesome as well.

I wanted to get my son an upgrade from his Playstation for Christmas. Best Buy in Kingston, NY was nice enough to put one on hold for me.

I love my ps4 I believe it's better than Xbox one. I had one before didn't like it because every time I want to play I have to do an update.

I bought a PS4 for the game destiny, so I could play it with my brother. If it wasn't for my brother I don't think I would have made the ps4 purchase. It lacks games and the good games it does have can be got on the ps3 or xbox 360. The graphics aren't a huge jump up from the current systems but the potential is there. Ps live us good feature so you can demo games before you try. I think greatness truly awaits for the ps4 in terms of games and graphics but it will take another year or two to reach that potential. I suggest waiting to get one, but if you can't wait it's not a bad buy.

I picked this up thinking it would be a successful replacement to my PS3 and the truth is that it isn't. It's a phenomenal console when it comes to gaming - but, when you look past that, it falls short; the PS4 doesn't support flash drives, CDs, or any other media, outside of Blu-rays. Plus, it is not backwards compatible, so it will NOT play any PS1, PS2, or PS3 games. So, if you're looking for a system does that, you're looking for a PS3. On the other hand, if you're looking for a console to play some amazing games with (very few at the moment), and that's all, then this is for you!

Easy to use. Nice design. The video choices are great on this system.
