This gaming system is just what I wanted fast and powerful.

Very expensive but worth every penny! Graphics are awesome!

i mostly use the ps4 for DVDs right now, but i am hoping to play games when better ones come out

Bought this system for our son to replace his ps3. He was certain this was what he wanted, I was hesitant because the games aren't backward compatible and that make most of his games unusable. He was also disappointed that online play needed to be purchased where it was free before.

Great system so far. Graphics are better than my ps³ . Renting movies is easy and quick. They load instantly. I do like the playstation plus as well have downloaded a few games to play which helps when you cant go out and buy games all the time. I usually just get 2 or 3 games a year.

The new ps4 is a nicely designed console. The console is also light in weight and is extremely quiet. The controller has nice grips and the analog sticks have been improved tremendously. The remote play feature with the PS Vita also works good (as long as you have a good wifi signal).

Awesome device!!! Clarity and game detail is spectacular

The PS4 is what you would expect, which is perfect. We selected the PS4 over the XBox One since we a) didn't need a console to integrate the complete entertainment system and b) didn't need the camera now and could pick it up as a gift later. We also applied the upgrade via USB so we didn't have any issues with data loss or non-responsiveness. Pros: The games look great on the system. The wireless controllers feel great and the system is very responsive with them. Basically, it's a great platform. Cons: We wish there were more games out (5 weeks after launch at time of review) but more are scheduled. The buttons on the front are small and hidden, so they take a moment to locate (use the controllers instead anyway). And we do wish the extra controllers would come with USB cables but we picked up a charging station and just need to be diligent about using it. Overall, very happy with the purchase and the kids we're very excited when they opened it Christmas morning.

i just recently purchased Playstation 4 its buy far the best video game system i have played the graghics are sick the only thing i dont like about it there no longer free online play you now have to buy playstation plus but ever thing else is amazing i highly recommend getting one

Compared closely with Xbox one and in my opinion was far superior. Better controller that offer compatabity with expensive headphones and gameplay is very natural and smooth. Really hoping to see more games out soon.

I absolutely love this game system! Everyday I use it I'm learning something different about it. The graphics are amazing and I enjoy playing and talking to my friends while playing call of duty ghosts & etc. This system is definitely a must buy because it's only going to improve.

Great system lots of features the most beautiful graphics I've ever scene for any video game system especially 1080p :) , i highly recommend this system to any gamer and if your not so much of a gamer its got red box and netflix and other cool features that make it worth your money.

I have had every single playstation system since PSone so the choice was simple for me. I waited in line and got mine on release night and the system did not dissapoint. The graphics in battlefield 4 are amazing. Controller is upgraded nicely. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase

It's the PS4 and it's been reviewed over and over again. As a Sony 'Fan Boy', I appreciate them not nickel and diming you like Microsoft does with their XBOX consoles (ie MUST have subscription service to access OTHER subscription services, and the various other methods that Microsoft found ways to charge for 'non-essential' essentials [HDD's, etc.]). While it lacks the passthrough of the XBOX One, I see that the PS4 offers much more value at a cheaper price.
