I have had every single playstation system since PSone so the choice was simple for me. I waited in line and got mine on release night and the system did not dissapoint. The graphics in battlefield 4 are amazing. Controller is upgraded nicely. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase

It's the PS4 and it's been reviewed over and over again. As a Sony 'Fan Boy', I appreciate them not nickel and diming you like Microsoft does with their XBOX consoles (ie MUST have subscription service to access OTHER subscription services, and the various other methods that Microsoft found ways to charge for 'non-essential' essentials [HDD's, etc.]). While it lacks the passthrough of the XBOX One, I see that the PS4 offers much more value at a cheaper price.

The PS4 is arguably the best next-gen console. It is blazing fast with incredible graphics. The browser is a joke and you cannot load Flash or surf as easily as you could on the PS3. The PS4 no longer has the ability to stream videos from your PC. Despite these major drawbacks, the PS4, at the end of the day, is a gaming console, and is a magnificent one at that! Please be advised, to play online multiplayer games, a Playstation Plus account is required.

The PS4 is everything that it is advertised to be. It provides entertainment for the entire family. It is easy to use and of course works great!

Opted for PS4 over PS3 for its future proof hardware. Although not many games are out yet which take take full advantage of the hardware, the overall flow and feel of the console is truly next gen. Assins Black Flag runs very smoothly but it probably does on PS3 as well. If you don't have the budget for PS4, PS3 should work nicely for a couple more years, but if you like your tech to last longer than that, and I keep my consoles for a long time, go for PS4.

THE PS4 IS A FANTASTIC CONSOLE. THE GRAPHICS HAVE IMPROVED. THE SPEED TO DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE GAMES HAVE DRASTICALLY CHANGED IN A GOOD WAY. AS OF NOW, I DONT FEEL AS IF THE GAMES THEMSELVES HAVE HELD THERE END OF THE DEVELOPMENT SIDE BUT IM SURE THAT WILL CHANGE IN THE FUTURE.

This is yet the best system out its like picking up from last system with better graphics and faster with a lot of updates. Wish the online gaming was free like before and wish you could play all ps games on this system but overall hands down purchase this system no brainer.

Great product, but still needs some minor tweaks like being able to play songs and videos off of the flashdrive, and they need to make a better lasting battery on the dualshock 4. Also when it gets hot it just worries me that something will happen. Also I would say the ps4 is pretty loud especially when you start a game and play for a long time. When I switch back to the home screen or hold down the ps button sometimes it will freeze for a second or two.

I love my playstation 4. I have been a long time playstation owner... 1 - 2 - 3 and now 4. I purchased a xbox 360 and just never really liked the quality of the machine or graphics.. I love the graphic quality and attention to detail that goes into the new games! The loading and wait times has been cut in half or more on Assassians creed Black Flag and NBA2k14! The sleek look on my entertainment center looks great and i have all the space i need as a moderate user. I have 2 issues so far with my machine. 1. It isnt a all around family hub like the PS3 Was. I had tons of videos and music and pictures that my younger children could access and enjoy by themselves without internet connection. 2. It gives me alot of trouble connection to my wireless hotspot. I wont connect first time everytime. I often have to restart either my router or PS$ for it to connect... not sure if it a gltich or what but i am sure it will be fixed in future updates. I would for sure recommend this to anyone! If you dont have one. go get it you wont be dissapointed..

Use it for gaming, netflix, hulu plus, and amazon prime!

My daughter loves this and has enjoyed playing with others on lineas well as by herself...

It was everything I expected. I enjoy playing with it every chance I get for down time.

It is fast Internet wise, and the graphics are good, but the controller batteries don't last long enough.
