This system is awesome. The graphics are incredible and the Playstation platform is very easy to use. I wish the games didnt take up so much HD space but thats the way of the world now i guess. The Xbox 1 might be a better home entertainment system but the PS4 is the ultimate for gaming.

I waited over a year to pick up the PS4, I did the same when I picked up a PS3. I wanted to make sure all the bugs were worked out and minimize the update wait. I wish I would have picked it up sooner it' has brought me make to gaming again. I got a bit bored with the PS3 but the graphics on the PS4 are amazing. I picked up COD and spent the first 2 days on the couch.

The PS4 is great for a next gen console, superb graphs, great sound. Con: Not backwards compatible. Both ps3 (or older) discs and PSN content do not work on PS4.

PS4 is the best console of this generation. Best graphics.More power. Better price. Better console exclusives. Fancy controller. If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed. Get one!

Graphics are amazing and the controller fits perfectly in my hand, what's lacking in more games but it's expected with a new console. Also the backwards compatability would have been nice

it is a nice unit, easy to set up, and fantastic graphics. i got the NFL game along with the unit, plus an extra controller. my boyfriend plays it all the time. i have yet to play it, but can tell how much my guy loves his new toy. Cons- besides not getting to see my boyfriend that much anymore- i was disappointed to learn that older PS3 games do not play on this unit, i wish they did.

Let me start with saying, that I had purchased the XB1 earlier this year, since I thought they were changing policies and making updates to their system, and going the right way. There's no doubt that's a great console. But, when I started comparing graphics of games like AC4 and Tomb raider, with my friend's console, I saw what I was missing. Also, the PS4 exclusives were hard to ignore. So I decided to get this system and I was blown by the graphics. The controller was the main reason why I had chosen a 360 over ps3, but the new DS controller is great upgrade over the old ps3 controller. Overall I am enjoying the console ....

This is my first Playstation since the original! I have to say that Xbox has been great over the years. However, after extensive research and aggressively following all the updates during the pre-launch competition, I have to say that Sony has knocked it out of the park! Not only did they deliver, they delivered for a cheaper price! Outstanding!!!!

I sold my xbox one because all developers said the ps4 is easier to make games for and most games are 1080p which I prefer with my 70" sony. I'm very happy with my choice, great gaming system. If your on the fence go with the ps4 you won't be disappointed. I will buy another xbox one someday but for now the ps4 is better in my opinion as an adult gamer

*The Console is stylish and small is size. *You have the advantage of having the flat or on its side standing up, but make sure to give enough room for the fans to work efficiently and not overheat. *It has it's own exclusive games not playable on other consoles. *The controllers are a big improvement over the previous console (ps3), they fit well in the hand and are more responsive, plus the addition of the touch pad give the player more control than ever before. *The graphics are amazing on this new console. Because it has a larger gpu it will always be able to support higher end resolutions. *You are now required to have PlayStation plus membership to play games online. But you also get the opportunity to download 2 games and play them as long is your membership is still active.

I like the new slimmer design and the performance of the PS3

Took it right out of the box and it immediately began to work!! That is always a great sign. Did everything that we thought it would. The new games we got for Christmas worked wonderfully on it. On the big screen it couldn't get much better. Also used it for movies and that work perfectly as well. Hope all our purchases turn out this well!!!

Didn't plan to buy this - how can I refuse my kids - and my inner child? No regrets though - bought Modern Warfare for it (still kicking myself in the derrier for buying it twice. However, the ability to compare is just priceless - the crispness of the graphics are just awesome. I have a ton of PS3 games and it's now hard to go back when your eyes are looking, nay hungering, for the visual feast from the PS4! I am glad that I can still be amazed at the improvement from generation to generation - but then again, as the title says - I am a fanboy :)

I was hesitant at first purchasing another gaming system. But after an hour, I was sold. The graphics were amazing (on a 50" TV), sound was bold and the bass was great. Now just got to break away and let my kids play!!

Upgraded to a PS4 from the PS3 after waiting for a year to do so. I'm glad I finally did. Although the PS3 was great, PS4 erases all the operational flaws of its predecessor and speeds things up in the menu phases. Obviously, the graphics and flow of games is just flat out incredible. Now if only more games would release at a faster pace.

The graphics are great and they only are going to get better, the loading times are very short, the navigation is very fluid and much faster than PS3. on the down side I was a bit surprised to see the lack of content to customize your PS4, theme and background wise. very few apps but not a big deal I just thought there would be a YT app but so far they haven't released it and I can't watch any flash content, but I guess they'll going to get that eventually. Overall is a great console and I believe it has more potential than the Xbox one. It's a sleek looking console, not too noisy although it runs a little hot

Easy set up. Games run smoothly. I've had it for nearly 2 months and haven't had any problems. When I turn the PS4 on, it automatically turns the tv to the proper channel which I thought was kinda cool. I can really tell the difference from the PS3. The games are more realistic. Especially BF4 and NBA 2k15. I want to get my son one.

This is leagues ahead of the PS3 and the Xbox One. It was an easy set up and has amazing graphics. Recommend it to everyone since you don't have to have Playstation Plus unlike how Microsoft requires Xbox Live. It doesn't play PS3 games so it can't replace the older console only play newer games which the PS3 doesn't have.
