The PS4 takes the Playstation to new heights. There are so many things that the PS4 can do that I wish the PS3 could. For example, the PS4 has party chat feature that lets you talk with your friends even thought they are not playing the same game as you and the PS4 can play your own custom music using a USB drive. Plus the Playstation exclusive games are always amazing

Easy to operate, great graphics, fast processor. Even blue ray movies look great on it. I use a wifi connection and I have no problems navigating at a fast speed and playing online movies.

I bought this for my self haven't had a play station since ps2 I love it

The Sony PlayStation 4 was seven years in the making and it is fantastic! Great graphics, great new games on the horizon. Controller is more refined, nice new UI! I stood in line at BestBuy for over 8 hours to get this baby, that should say it all!

Got this for myself as an early Christmas present regardless the not so good reviews. It looks and plays great. The controller took a little getting used to cause its a little different from the PS3 controller. The controller feels great after you get use to it and feels like it plays smoother than the PS3 controller. Graphics wise, I can see a difference. For example CoD: Ghosts looks a little unpolished as for on PS4 looks smooth and very well done. Even the PS4 menus looks great after you start it up. The system itself looks beautiful. The design is a little weird but I don't mind it. The only problem I have with the PS4 is it's not backwards compatible and you have to pay to play games online but that's not too bad cause it's $10 cheaper than Xbox live. Other than that the PS4 is great and recommend it for yourself or anyone else as a gift.

Been a Sony guy since the original Playstation days and have always preferred their gaming console to Microsofts. I dig the new design and the interface looks slick. Very happy. Can't wail till all the good games start hitting the shelves soon

First off, if you are looking at this you probably have already done your research (as I did) as to the capabilities and know that it is not backward compatible with PS3 games. This is well advertised and if you feel as though this was a major issue, then take it up with Sony, but I am not going to hit the system for a feature it was not designed to support. Yes, it is a pain in the --- to have to have both systems hooked up, but it is what it is. Comparing this to the XBOX One, I give the edge to the PS4. Graphics are similar in both, but having seen BF4 and CoD Ghosts on both, I have to say the PS4 graphics (and sound) have a slightly higher quality (not saying the XBOX One sucks, it is great too, just the PS4 is a bit better). The style of the console is also better than the XBOX One: slimmer design, integrated power supply, smaller camera. On the negative side, the PS4 Eye is not as clear as the XBOX One Kinect camera - image quality is much better on the XBOX. My biggest beef is that although the graphics are great, I guess I was expecting something more. For a console 7 years in the making I expected the graphics to be orders of magnitude better that what they are. Now maybe this is just because the games put out so far do not fully take advantage of the PS4s capabilities, but looking at AC4 on both the PS3 and PS4 the differences are not that spectacular. Looking forward to Destiny from Bungie this spring/summer as this may be the first game to really test the PS4s graphics.

Bought the PS4 for my son but fell in love with it myself. It looks great, operates quietly, has wonderful speed, the definition of the graphics is amazing. Took me a while to figure out how to use the options button. Overall a excellent system!

I've always had the Playstation system so decided to stay with it for this one as well. The price being $100 cheaper than the Xbox One also helped make my decision easier. So far I've been nothing but impressed with the system. The graphics look great. The new controller is an upgrade from the PS3. The system itself looks sharp and looks like it could be a piece of art sitting around your house instead of an entertainment machine. I also use it for watching movies and streaming content, which it does wonderfully as well. There is not a PS4 specific youtube app yet for it like there was on the PS3 is my only complaint so far. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
