Easy set uo, beautiful game console, operates perfectly, graphics are better than expected, and blue ray is great thing to have. No regrets on this purchase.

I'm not happy with this console. I got it for christmas. so it the time I bought it and the time I used the warranty in the store was expire. the problem is that the console ejects the disc without any kind of warning. and this problem is consitent. now I have to work with Sony to get an RMA for an exchange. my children are not happy.

It was easy to set up. It has amazing graphics and is easy to use for any gamer.

The console has amazing graphic processors. As for the noise, u can barely hear it running the background. This is by far the best gaming console u can get.

I am as amazed at the performance and graphics of the PS4 as I was with the PS3 when I moved from the Xbox360. I have found that the connection to the PS Store is better, with download and installation speed improvements. It was not a tough choice between the PS and the Xbox One. It all came down to the original reason for the switch...subscription. I feel that there is more value and less non-media related advertising on the PS3/4. Fewer requirements for the subscription for ancillary features (i.e. Netflix, Vudu, etc.) via the Playstation network. From what I have seen the two systems are pretty much on par with each other, specs-wise. So, all I had to decide on was additional costs. Games = same prices, accessories = same price. Function, well, Kinect is really quite nice. However I have my PC hooked up to my TV, so if I really want it, I can wait for the PC version. In summary, it is all that I want from a gaming system.

Set up was easy, worked well out of the box, comfortable controller. Graphics look great. sleek unit like the lights that tell you what mode system is in.

The console is small, quiet, and has amazing capabilities. The graphics of FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4 are exceptional. This console has a promising future.

I've purchased every single playstation console and the PS4 definitely sets the bar high with its graphics features & functionality. The apps available are a great way to familiarize yourself with the system. It has just about everything you can want music video pictures along with editing software for video capture & screen shots! Let's not forget the great games available like Infamous BF4 Ghosts Madden & 2K14. Playstation plus is also great, you get free games monthly for all playstation consoles & handhelds so you're never bored. Pick up PS4 you won't regret it!

Graphical powerhouse with impressive clarity great!

I recently purchased a PS4 after getting PS2 and PS3 on launch day I waited on this purchase. High marks on the PS4 for integrating social networks, chat and shareing functionality (athough some of the sharing features seem to be pending future software updates). The graphics on the PS4 specific gams are top notch and I have not noticed any lag in any of the games to date. Games like GHOSTS on the other hand I have not noticed much in the way of graphic upgrade but I assume this is due to limitations with the game engine. I am still feeling my way around the menus and settings but I am very impressed with the new layout and especially the feel of the new controller. The controller feels much more sturdy than the PS3 version and the potental for the touch pad while still untapped is exciting. All in all I am verry satisfied but look forward to some of the new games coming out later this year to really see the power of the machine.

Great system with download n upload speeds. New Madden graphics are great as well as Assassins Creed IV! The controller rubber in joystick already rubbing off, really disappointing! The console has lot if trouble staying connected to internet, never had that problem with PS3

I love the PS4, itself. The games are fun, especially with the new controller, the media apps (Netflix, Amazon, Crunchyroll, Hulu Plus, NHL, etc.) work beautifully, and the automatic downloads for everything, even when the device is put to sleep, make life so much easier. The only downside I found was that it doesn't connect well to wi-fi or ethernet internet connections easily, at hotels and the like, because you need to open up a webpage and do some steps first, before you are allowed to connect, which normally happens automatically on a computer or iPhone.

I'm definitely a Sony / Playstation fan, this system just continues along the awesome lines from PS1 to the current system. The gaming graphics are outstanding when paired with a HDTV and the sound output is awesome when paired HD Surround Sound system. Blu-Rays are clear and crisp. The User Interface appears to be very similar to the xbox 360 interface (at least the last interface I used on my 360, I rarely turn the system on - not a MSFT fan) All in all, I am impressed with the system, only time will tell on how the quality with it is. I recommend you buy it!
