What a great way to enter the next gen of gaming! Right out of the box you'll have some free games to play so you don't have to go and buy every game out there right now. Graphics look great on all the games currently out and the voice and camera features along with the tv apps make this a great console. Once you start using it you will be on it a lot. And if you have a Vita you can play PS4 games remotely. While I was skeptical at first I found myself using it more than I thought i would and enjoy it.

This console has so many features that it's hardto really know the in and outs of it. I've had it for a year and I still don't know how to use all of the features, but I'm stil, working on it. It's a great buy!

Gaming systems have gotten more and more expensive these days but with wireless controllers and Blu-Ray capability, I think PS4 is definitely worth it. We owned an XBOX last time and never owned a PS (unless PSP counts) so decided to go for this to try out PS-exclusive games this time around. I think this is my favorite gaming system compared to our Wii and XBOX. The graphics are AMAZING in this.

Sony has listened to its customers and developers and gave us a great console that moves their brand and our gaming experiences forward. The graphics are great and the new features are fantastic, especially if you own a Vita. the push for ease of development has already bore fruit as is apparent when compared to XBOX One. Topped off with a very reasonable price, this is such a good time to be a gamer!

Good video game system, cool PS Vita remote play, more dedicated to video games and less of an entertainment device than the xbox one. Graphics similar on both systems. Smaller size and cooler design than xbox one. The remote is great.

I purchased this item for my boyfriend's 40th bday and he was excited when he opened the bag! He enjoys playing when he is home from work, as he travels most of the year. He loves his Playstation 4, he's actually playing it as I am writing this review!! I think this is a great gift for any age/gender...if they are into gaming.

This is a great product. In my opinion much better than the Xbox One. Outside of the connect, the Xbox is just a poor copy of the Playstation. The new controller was tough to get used to after avid gaming on the PS3, but I am happy with the new set up of both the controller and the new PS Menu screen. The graphics are amazing and the game play is responsive and seamless. Already being a member of PS+, there wasn't a big change for me with online gaming, purchasing, and in-game purchasing but I do believe that Sony should have left the option for free online gameplay. I believe that was one of the greatest advantages of PS3 over Xbox 360.

Not being a real genius when it comes to electronics it took me much too long to figure out how to turn the machine on. The instructions show a circle with the vertical line to show power button and says touch the power button but there is done. It is just a slot in the machine that you touch. Once I figured that out the rest of the problems were mine.

Better graphics than the PS3 hands down. Love the sleek design and user friendly screens. Traded up and got a great deal.

I have bought every PlayStation console at launch since the PS1 so i knew it wouldn't be any different this time, although this time i must admit I am a bit disappointed with the launch lineup. Killzone was a huge letdown from the Killzone titles on the PS3; and the only other retail games that were out were pretty much sports games and shooters. Resogun is a good time killer but im still waiting for the killer game that feels like it couldnt be done on the PS3. As far as the system goes it looks sleek and I love the fact that they utilized the same power cord plug in as the PS3. I keep one in my living room and one in my loft and its nice being able to move them back and forth simply by changing out the machine and not unplugging anything from the wall or TV. I have all of my cords run behind my walls so that is a very nice feature, and saved me from having to buy a second power cord. The controller is also a huge step up from the PS3 controller in my opinion. Its bulkier in a good way and just feels a bit sturdier and fits in my hand better. The touch pad is a bit big for my liking but until there are games that use it well it will be hard to tell my thoughts on that. The triggers feel a bit nicer as well, overall i like the controller but dont like that they changed the charge port to not be compatible with the PS3 charge cords. My biggest gripe is the new redefined XMB. I can appreciate waht they are trying to do by making it a bit nicer and more streamlined and in some way they succeed but it just seems a bit messy for me. It could be that im just not used to it but it seems a bit cluttered already and its only going to get worse as i get more content. I would like a bit more organization and bit more options for customization to allow us to put things where we want. Overall i gave it 5 stars because my gripes are all tied to things that can and likely will be improved over time, they are the costs you pay for buying a console at launch.

This console is amazing. I have no other words for it, it just blows my mind every time I use it. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is cohesive (I bought Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with it, and it's just... Wow) and flows very well, no lagging, fast loading (HUGE improvement from the PS3) and the controller feels great! I love the thing, and I'd never trade it for anything. Definitely worth it. Oh, and the ability to share, take screenshots and videos, that's pretty awesome, too.

This is the console to get. Paired with PS Plus...I've already gotten great games such as Don't Starve, Outlast, and Contrast. The exclusives that will be coming for this console will be the highlight of this new gen. The games are amazing looking and will only get better. What are you waiting for? I surprised my fiancé on his birthday with a PS4. He's been talking about getting one for months. He already had the PS3 but he wanted to upgrade. I like that it can be used as a blue ray player

I wasn't going to buy a PS4 once Watchdogs was delayed, but when I was at the Mall of America when they put a sign up saying they had PS4s in stock, I changed my mind…I'm glad I did…games run so incredibly smooth, and look fantastic…new titles will come in time, and I'm glad I've got it to play now…playing mostly BF4 and Madden…but my son loves Fifa and the Lego Marvel game. excellent system!

I purchased the ps4 fully expecting to buy every accessory to push my bill to $700. I only had to buy the camera, an EXTRA controller, and the subscription for a year. My bill for the 500 gig was $500. I was able to download free games that are actually fun such as DONT STARVE. I could upgrade certain games to the ps4 from the ps3 for only $9.99. I was pleased that the graphics were great, the accessibility is simplistic, and the fun factor is high. I now know why we had to wait so long.

Great gaming console. Even better that i was able to trade in older consoles to get a cheaper price for the new one.

The Playstation 4 is everything I could have hoped for. The graphics are insane and the user interface is a fresh new look.

Great for playing games. And a lot of other LITTLE features that don't make you forget that this is a game console. It has movies music and apps that are really great to use but those same features don't overwhelm the interface. Yeah those features are great but when it comes down to it we buy these consoles to play games and the PS4 knocks it out of the park with the gameplay and graphics.
