Easy to set up and works well. I only wish there was a remote control similar to the PS3 Media / BluRay remote. The controller battery doesn't last long between charges.

Seems like goin against the grain not getting an Xbox 1, but in my opinion it's worth it. I'd rather have more of a gaming system than a media system.

I was an Xbox 360 girl...no more. After playing both next-gen consoles, PS4 is the hands down winner. Awesome graphics, possibly the greatest controller ever made for a console, easy setup and no required online or Kinect. If you want to use your console for games and apps, get the PS4. I just wish it had launched with some more exclusive titles. Thankfully, I know they are on the way.

Bought this unit as a gift and I was concerned that it may be difficult or time consuming to set up since there were updates that needed to be loaded. Once hooked up, simple instructions permitted the updates to load without problems and my time investment was not bad. The graphics are fantastic and game play is quick and smooth--normal use is sports games--NBA 2k14, Madden 25, FIFA14.

This is the best next-gen system out right now. Although there are a limited number of games right now, this system shows a great deal of promise for future games. The system is very smooth and fast, downloads and updates very quickly. Easy to set up and fits in most places, has a reasonable price as well.

I received this Ps4 as a Christmas gift and I absolutly love this system it's so much fun and the games are awsome a big selection in every category.

The PlayStation 4 is a tremendous gaming system that is so much more than a gaming platform. It is very versatile an I would recommend it to anyone.

This was the gift my husband was searching for at Christmas. I was lucky enough to find one and he has been enjoying it since. The graphics during gaming are amazing and half of his playing time he says "do you see this? It's ridiculous!" The ability to watch movies, play games, and interact with hulu, amazon, and Netflix makes this console great for those that enjoy entertainment.

This machine was a total shock. The look and navigation of the menus is completely different than the old PS3. Took as while to figure out how to navigate the new setup but once it was setup the unit functioned perfectly. Its download speed is much better than the previous version and the graphics are better. The only thing we didn't realize was we had a remote that was not your typical game controller that worked great with the old version but would not work with this PS4. You have to use the game controller and the old remote will not work with the new version. Bummer, I guess it will have to go to a recycle bin.

The PS4 is the best console out there in my opinion. It's similar to the PS3, but with a bit of touch up here and there. The controller is one thing that Playstation outdid themselves. It's a touchpad motion controller and very fun to play games with. The share feature is a plus! Can share videos of game footage with friends and online community. This console is a must get!

Purchased my PS4 recently due to a spur of the moment. I saw a Best Buy associate carrying one to a customer from the back room and didn't even realize they had restocked them. They had ten left so I purchased one. It was very easy to set up use my account from my old PS3 and get on PSN and start doing upgraded purchases for certain games that I already have. Thank you Best Buy.

Purchased for my son upgrading from PS3. He says it's fantastic with the usual Sony high quality. Keeps getting better as more games are released.

The xbox is great but you want something greater get the ps4! Enough said.

I have already recommended the PS4 to just about everyone I know I loved the PS3 and I definitely love the PS4 graphics, sound gaming even the bluray player is better the controller is better the camera and voice recognition online gaming is better there's really not much to dislike accept the price

Bought this as a gift for teenage son. He was so happy and seems to like it more than the Xbox 360. I liked that it was less expensive but the quality seems good. I do not like that the newer game systems are not compatible with the older games and even though it was cheaper, it's still pretty pricey.

The PS4 is a great console! It's affordable compared to the Xbox One and is very focused on core gamers. The machine is streamlined in its appearance and feels like it's tightly put together. I've been a longtime Xbox 360 user and I never owned a PS3. So, this purchase felt like a logical decision to enter the world of Playstation based on the fact that older PS3 games will eventually be available via streaming service and that the PS4 has proven superior graphical output (at this time).
