I love the look of the new PS4. The graphics are incredible. The thing that isn't so great is that is doesn't play any regular movies or cds and I also need to re-buy games because it doesn't play PS3 games.

I own both the XBONE, and PS4. I feel that both will be great systems and remembered fondly. For now, we wait for next generation to truly get underway. Games are beautiful, and we need to get to the new/original I.P.'s. Enjoy the transition with either next generation system. BTW, PS4 has brought me back into the Sony preferred camp. Time will tell if that lasts, but I am completely ready for what PS4 can do once the technology is harnessed.

As a gamer, I can say I've been at this since before Atari 2600, we're talking Pong and Telstar. The PS4 delivers in graphics and in content. You expect a great gaming console and mind blowing gaming is what you get. I am amazed at the graphics, sound and the great free content from PlayStation Plus. Not your typical free games, full top shelf games that you would actually want to play are offered for free monthly. Hats off to Sony!

This is a very early days review for the PS4, however, even in its relative infancy, I do enjoy this machine. I literally bought this to play the silent hills playable teaser, and don't regret that decision in the least. The new controllers are great, the interface is easy to use and super intuitive and the games that are out for it (and there aren't many yet...) are beautiful. I already have two high end gaming pcs and I still wanted to get this because Sony seems like they are more forward thinking than xbox, besides, the exclusives for this look better. I'm looking forward to the next few months as more games start dropping near Christmas, and the ultimate promise... project morpheus and all the new ways that VR will become a way to enjoy killing imaginary things.

Much better than PS3, definitely worth the upgrade, I wish I hadn't waited so long. Controller is better, UI is better, overall nice upgrade. Only regret is that it isn't backward compatable.

This was a gift for my son. He said he wasn't sure if he should get the XBox or the PlayStation system. He was driving me crazy so I made the choice to select the PlayStation. Once he got his hand on the system, he said I made the right choice. He loves the visual graphics, and the large selection of games. It also function some what like a personal computer. He loves it and that's all I needed to hear. Thanks (PS).

Coming from a avid gamer who has owned about every Sony system (ps1, ps2, ps3, psp, & ps vita) this system exceeds my expectations. Able to play blockbuster hits like battlefield 4, Destiny and last of us to name a few, at high refresh rates and plays networking games with little to no lag. (Servers are a different question since they have certain connection speeds) I highly recommend owning this system to everyone.

So far so good for the PS4. Games look fantastic and the system is easy to set up and use. My only complaint is the controller. While it feels much more comfortable than prior controllers, the battery life is subpar. Highly recommend if someone is on the fence between PS4 and Xbox.

It is everything I expected it to be. Smooth interface, fast loading, beautiful graphics.

Easy to use. The only issue I dont like that I can not see anything from any plugged USB.

AWESOMENESS in box. This system is a great multi-media system. Better than the console before it. The system can sync with other Sony systems, it's very easy to setup and use, the controllers are better than before, the system is smaller than before but it does so much more.

I purchased the ps4 during the hoildays. It has amazing graphics and easier to play.

Plugging my new PS4 in made me feel like a kid at Christmas again. Everything you need to hook it up is right in the box (no buying HDMI cables) and the initial update clocked in at around 6 minutes. Not bad. Sony did a complete overhaul of the interface from the PS3 to the PS4 and it's definitely for the better. Load times are quicker and the tiles let you seamlessly switch between one game and another. The new controller also fits really comfortably in your hand. One of my favorite features is remote play which is accessible if you also have a PlayStation Vita. It allows you to play and operate your PS4 via your Vita over WiFi. I've tested this up to 8 miles away and had minimal to no lag depending on what I was playing. Finally, the graphics of the games currently out for it show the potential of games to come. Meanwhile though, I feel that there is not a solid selection out and I find myself playing my ps3 more.

Purchase a PS4 with points. The console is great, but if you have an HDMI splitter/switch you will probably have problems. Beware! Of course the console is going to be great for gaming. The controller is wonderful. The Netflix app is the best version of Netflix that I've encountered on all the consoles and my TV's built-in app. It is very responsive compared to the rest, and the graphics are pleasing.

The Sony Playstation 4 is amazing! Easy set up-incredible graphics-beautiful design.
