I have had every single playstation system since PSone so the choice was simple for me. I waited in line and got mine on release night and the system did not dissapoint. The graphics in battlefield 4 are amazing. Controller is upgraded nicely. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase

It's the PS4 and it's been reviewed over and over again. As a Sony 'Fan Boy', I appreciate them not nickel and diming you like Microsoft does with their XBOX consoles (ie MUST have subscription service to access OTHER subscription services, and the various other methods that Microsoft found ways to charge for 'non-essential' essentials [HDD's, etc.]). While it lacks the passthrough of the XBOX One, I see that the PS4 offers much more value at a cheaper price.

System is very easy to use, exceeds expectations. I've had all MS systems in the past, but feel like the PS4 is more geared to gaming which is a plus to me. I can't say a bad thing about the graphics. Download times could be better, but that's probably due to my internet speed.

Couldn't wait to get it. Too bad the first one was a dud..All is now well and I am very happy.

The PS4 is arguably the best next-gen console. It is blazing fast with incredible graphics. The browser is a joke and you cannot load Flash or surf as easily as you could on the PS3. The PS4 no longer has the ability to stream videos from your PC. Despite these major drawbacks, the PS4, at the end of the day, is a gaming console, and is a magnificent one at that! Please be advised, to play online multiplayer games, a Playstation Plus account is required.

Excited to play some of the new games with great graphics, the PS3 was getting pretty old... New controllers are also great One thing that came as a surprise to me is that online multiplayer games require a plus account to play, where the PS3 allowed online play with just the free playstation network account. Happy other than the now-required monthly costs...

The PS4 is everything that it is advertised to be. It provides entertainment for the entire family. It is easy to use and of course works great!

Hard to give an honest review since there isn't a large collection of games out yet. System runs fine and setup is easy. It sucks to have to pay for internet access now, but hopefully that will bring with it some improvements in performance. I prefer the PS3 controller to the current one, the blue light is obnoxiously bright and the thumb pads aren't as comfortable.

I love my new PS4. Playstation is the way to go. Reliable, wont breakdown on a consistent basis like XBox. 1080p vs 720p......come on, thats a no brainer! The new controllers are really nice too! They fill into your palms for a better grip. The lighting on them are also all cool.

Opted for PS4 over PS3 for its future proof hardware. Although not many games are out yet which take take full advantage of the hardware, the overall flow and feel of the console is truly next gen. Assins Black Flag runs very smoothly but it probably does on PS3 as well. If you don't have the budget for PS4, PS3 should work nicely for a couple more years, but if you like your tech to last longer than that, and I keep my consoles for a long time, go for PS4.

THE PS4 IS A FANTASTIC CONSOLE. THE GRAPHICS HAVE IMPROVED. THE SPEED TO DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE GAMES HAVE DRASTICALLY CHANGED IN A GOOD WAY. AS OF NOW, I DONT FEEL AS IF THE GAMES THEMSELVES HAVE HELD THERE END OF THE DEVELOPMENT SIDE BUT IM SURE THAT WILL CHANGE IN THE FUTURE.

This is yet the best system out its like picking up from last system with better graphics and faster with a lot of updates. Wish the online gaming was free like before and wish you could play all ps games on this system but overall hands down purchase this system no brainer.

THE PLAYSTATION REMINDS ME OF SOMETHING WE WOULD PLAY IF WE WERE IN THE FUTURE. THE WAY IT STARTS UP WITH THE LIGHT AND SOUND IS FUN. THE CONTROLLER'S DESIGN IS NICE AS WELL. THE ONLY SAD PART ABOUT OWNING THIS SYSTEM IS THAT THERE IS NOT THAT MANY GAMES AVAILABLE FOR IT YET.

The PlayStation 4 is by far the best system right now for price and based on the hardware that's in it. Games look clear and crisp and run smoothly. The dashboard runs flush and seamlessly. The controllers have great battery life and the apps that are downloadable all work great.

Use it for gaming, netflix, hulu plus, and amazon prime!

My daughter loves this and has enjoyed playing with others on lineas well as by herself...
