My younger son is on his way to Med School. His older brother wanted to take the PS4 to his last year of Law School at BC Law. His kind young brother gave in and let him take it. Before his older brother left, we surprised him with an even better replacement - the PS4 PRO: He could not have been happier!

I got the PS4 Pro for the pure power and performance as well as extra storage space. I noticed the performance of the Pro to be a lot better in all the games that are currently out to date. Load times were a lot faster as well and each game I played was smooth in terms of FPS and overall performance.

I'm originally a Xbox guy, but seeing how a lot of the good games are not coming out on Xbox, i finally decided to purchase a PS4. Now i wanted the latest and greatest so that's why i didn't get the 1st version or the skinny PS4. Although, It sucks that it does not have a Blueray/4k driver so you can watch movies, but i understand everything is being streamed now and i don't remember purchasing a DVD in a long time! You will find the same price no matter where you go( Best Buy, Walmart, or Target), so no use of driving around for a cheaper PS4 Pro. I have a 4k Sony tv i bought in late 2015 (purchased at Best Buy too), but the fine print is that in order to get the best out of your PS4 pro your tv will need a 4K HDR feature. Unfortunately, my tv doesn't but it still doesn't take away how great the games look or how great the streams look out of my TV. So far i like my purchase and i am now waiting for the good games to come out. I've been playing PS4 pro now more then the Xbox One. I would recommend to anyone. I feel Xbox is more of a entertainment media center and PS4 pro is more of games console. Enjoy!

If you are the types to wait for ps5 in 2019-20 and dont want to shell out 500$ for the one x. This deal is sweet.

The new PS4 being slim small and a lot easier to fit in tight spots makes it a lot easier to put anywhere the PS4 now offer such an amazing picture quality with the HDR the gaming experience is just like being at the arcade but way better picture quality PlayStation really knows how to nail it when they really want to go big

I held off on this purchase for a while as I already owned a PS4. Once I purchased a 4k HDR tv I felt it was time. The picture quality in game is absolutely brilliant. I'm one of those gamers that fly through games in order to finish quickly. But I've found myself stopping to check out the scenery since this purchase.

This is the first real gaming system we've had in many years. The graphics are beyond my expectations on our 4K television. The controller is light and responsive and the hard drive is definitely large enough. Since I don't have a real comparable, I'm more than satisfied. Looking forward to many years of fun with the Pro 4.

This is a great machine, but seems to run warm even when it’s not being heavily used. Everything runs well and quickly. Well worth the purchase.

I cant believe how much you can do with this system. It does everything. Crystal clear and just flat out awesome.

I purchased this for my boyfriend and he loves it. I myself don't notice any difference between this and his PS4 ._. but oh well lol it made him happy. I wish I would of spent $50-100 or so more on the VR, that actually looks interesting and worth buying ;P

Purchased for my 5 and 9 year old boys and both love it. There are games available that are great for both ages.

I got a 4k tv this fall on black friday I already had a ps3 and was in the market for a ps4. I finally purchased this one and I couldn't be more happy. The picture quality on games like battlefield is simply amazing it looks like real life. As someone who's owned a ps3 and ps2 this is a great addition to my collection.

Sony has amazed me with the performance they get out of this machine for only $400. While I love the Xbox One S I recently purchased, this is by and far a superior "gaming" machine for the $ spent. I recommend this to anyone in the market for a console this holiday season. Especially those looking to dip their toes into VR.

At this point, at this price, you are probably better off waiting for the PlayStation 5 or $100 price drop on this Pro. Sony definitely won the exclusive games battle this generation, and there are some great games. However, the Xbox series X genuinely runs third party games a bit better, more smoothly, and if you are looking for a genuine 4K experience, that’s the way to go. The PlayStation Pro also doesn’t have a 4K Blu-ray drive, so it’s not quite the media center replacement the Xbox is.
