Had a PS4 Slim and on my 4k tv it looked a bit off. Got the Pro and it made a world of difference. If you've ventured into the 4k market, this is absolutely worth it.

I bought this to go with my new Sony 4K TV along with the new Spider-Man game. Being able to play games in 4K HDR is amazing! The new Spider-Man game looks so real and lifelike!

The PS4 Pro itself is what you would expect from a Sony flagship console. It functions largely the same as the previous iteration with the welcome enhancement of 4K or UHD and HDR video output. This is, however, only noticeable on UHD/HDR TVs. If your current set is only standard HD (1920x1080) the extra horsepower needed to output in the higher resolution of UHD isn't going to be very noticeable, outside of some faster load and install times. The standard 1TB hardrive is a great feature but given how easy it is to swap that out in the previous iteration, that shouldn't be the sole selling point here if you own a standard HD TV. Overall great console with razor sharp visuals if you have the TV to display it.

Absolutely love this! Definitely glad I purchased when I did because they were hard to find. I game quite frequently and this meets my needs

PS4 is an excellent gaming console with excellent graphics, although the location of the start and select buttons is annoying and sometimes the screen capture feature doesn't seem to work properly.

I already own two other ps4s but I had to have the 4k pro with the new serial number. The fan is silent, no more crazy loud fan system. This is a great gift for any Sony fan

Very great gaming console. Little difficult at the beginning setting up profiles and figuring out how to install / upload games. But love the use of it.

I've had this for a while, traveled with it and everything. Holds up well, beautiful picture. Some games make it sound like it's taking off into space, but its a fine console.

I play video games everyday and it was worth upgrading from the first generation ps4 to the ps4 pro. The graphics are a whole lot better and the gameplay is a lot smoother.

This unit is more expensive than the normal PS4 version, but with the extra cost comes extra oompf. If you own or are planning on buying a 4K TV then don't think any further, just buy the PS4 PRO. All games now are coming either 4K ready or are being updated to be 4K compatible. It's a beast. I'm not gonna go into if it's better than the Xbox One because I believe both are good consoles (except for the fact that the PS4 is better jk lol bst) but being able to game in 4K is amazing. The difference isn't subtle and if you have an HDR ready TV then you're really in for a surprise. I've owned Playstation since the first one but they've taken it to a whole different level with 4K gaming.

Haters might say there’s no difference but that’s cause they don’t own one. I literally just upgraded from the regular and the graphics are awesome! Don’t hesitate just get it.

I love the console and Best Buy had the best deal. I have no regrets. The graphics are awesome on my 4K TV and the streaming apps are just a bonus.

This is an excellent console. I upgraded from the regular system. Got a 4k tv setup, so wanted to get the most out of it. Love the picture quality. Would recommend if you have a 4k tv

I am not an avid play station fan but the PS4 Pro was pretty good, We have a Samsung 4k TV that paired well with it, Games play smooth and has became a core console in our house hold. We did have to go through the setting to setup 4k properly but overall not that hard.

I love this Playstation Pro. Youtube works so much better on it than on the PS3. I have only recently started playing The Last Of Us and can definitely see the difference. Very happy with my purchase!

Loading times are faster and no freeze lags at all. Do yourself a favor and get the upgrade. Sell your old one to help pay and bam, quadruple the power and speed with double the hard drive space. Worth.

I love my PlayStation 4 pro. It's such a great product. The picture is so crisp and clear for those games that are enhanced for it. And the loading times are shorter even. It's amazing.

I do notice the improvement from the standard PS4. Faster loading better graphics when a game has pro support for 2d and VR gaming. Main problem is getting the 4k to display on my TV. Took about 3 hours of searching online and restarting my PS4 in safe mode MANY MANY times before I actually got it work, but let me tell you that once I did get it to work the improvement was definitely noticeable.

This is the only system this generation that anybody needs. All your needs will be met. PS4 pro has the greatest games and graphics for the cost as compared to Xbox one X

I bought PlayStation 4 Pro for my husband as an early Christmas gift and he loves it! He mostly plays Minecraft on it, and it is wicked fast and there is just nothing wrong with it. Highly recommend it!
