Great system, fast processor... as easy to set up as the previous version...and Sony did not loose any of my data. USB ports still difficult to use if you swap out cords a lot

Although I already have a 4K gaming pc I still bought the PS4pro for 4K gaming I'm gettting tired of spending 800 dollars on a pc video card. Games look and play great on the new PS4 pro.

I've been playing primarily on PC and Nintendo hardware for the last five years, so it was exciting to finally pick up a PS4 Pro in 2018. The games are excellent, there's no major hardware problems, and the Pro has a bunch of neat features that the standard model PS4 lacks. Players will likely be happy with either, but I'm a sucker for smooth framerates so I stuck with the more expensive model. As a nice bonus for Vita owners, I've found the PS4 Remote Play experience to be very nice as well. It's fun playing major releases on a handheld device (bringing a greater degree of parity between my Switch and PS4 experiences).

Upgraded my original PS4 to the Pro when I purchased a new 4K TV. Additional resolution and speed are nice improvements. Sony also made it easy to transfer data from old PS4.

Nice upgrade to the 4k pic quality. Bummed it didn't still have component connects as well though to play Rocksmith with no latency issues.

The graphics and visuals look so much better when playing games in 4k or watching 4k videos/movies. Definitely worth the upgrade if you have a 4k tv.

Its a more powerful version of the original ps4. If you are the type of person who keeps their systems after the console generation is over this is definitely the one you want to get.

If you have a PS4 and a non-4k TV, stick with that. But if you wanna show off your new 4K TV and believe things make you better than other people (I do), then you should buy one of these.

Went through 2 OG ps4s and a slim. Waited on pro because of the jet engine noise. Get the model 7115B or later aka a Red Dead 2 or later. Very quite. Works great

Having invested in a big screen w/ 4K and having lost the other PS console to college son, no brainer to replace for the 'home team' this newer version w/ 4K. Loved every minute so far.

Sony - Playstation 4 Pro Console - Wow I have a 1080p tv and I can tell that the improvement on the graphics are awesome. Don't even have to buy a 4k to see the difference. Great console

If you don't own a PS4 get this model! It's worth the higher price due to its faster processor and 4K resolution. However, if you own a PS4 and and don't have a 4K TV it's not a must.

I bought a PS4 at launch and had the means to get the PS4 Pro and sell off my original one, I must say that it was worth it since it gives a good bump to games, even better with a 4k TV.

The ease of use, convenient menu layouts and game storage is great. I noticed a big difference in the quality of the resolution immediately.

Got this over the normal ps4 and I can say I can definitely notice the difference. My brother has the normal ps4 and mine constantly looks better and out performs!

Graphics are incredibly real, 4k visuals make newer games shine and the larger hard drive will ensure I can install more than 3 games at a time.

Works well. Fan noisey but who cares. We have xbr Sony tv w/ hdr and it makes games like tv. Awesome system. We bought ps4 VR a little later and together they work flawlessly.

Had a launch PS4. Figured I'd get an upgrade. The pro is a great system. Haven't had any problems with it and noticed improvements in graphics during playtime with Horizon Zero Dawn.

The graphics on the Playstation PRO are amazing We also have an Xbox one and we can really see the difference. Sony did a great job with this console and I recommend this purchase
