Same price as launch unit, 4k, SATA 3, HDR, 5Ghz wifi, better video card... This thing is a BEAST!

Never been much of a gamer but thought I’d purchase one of these after playing around with my girlfriends. I work out in the Aleutian Islands for three months at a time and it get quite boring at night so I purchased this to play games and watch movies when I was off work for the night. It took a bit of getting used to the controls, but I’m really enjoying all this machine has to offer. I also get to communicate with my girlfriend more doing online games together when I’m gone.

I was looking to get the 4K HDR experience since I got a new TV. Very happy so far, fast and great graphics.

If you were going to buy a PlayStation 4 you must get the pro edition. Better hard drive and better graphics great console.

Love the graphics on my console love that I can purchase games without needing a disk no worries about loosing the Game or scratching them

Excellent console, but meant for a niche. It's a marginal gain over the Ps4, and it really only justifies the premium if you have a 4k TV.

I was at first skeptical of purchasing a new PS4 just for the "PRO" model; however, I'm in love with the quality of graphics and gameplay!

PS4 Pro pwns all except PCMR :) added an 8tb ssd external 8tb ssd. MX-4 thermal custom cooler. Works great.

It is worth the extra $100 to get this console. It is a lot faster that the standard model with options to speed up the games.

I bought this before buying my new Sony TV and the PSVR and the difference was stunning. Also nice to have such a big HDD finally!

The upgrades are nothing to shy at, but that extra 500gb was dearly needed. Somehow they made the controller better too.

Love my PS4 Pro. This is the latest model and it’s very quiet, as compared to previous models with a loud fan. I spend more time on the PS4 than my Xbox thanks to the exclusives. It was sold out everywhere but I kept refreshing the page every 2-3 minutes over a 3 hour period and I was finally able to snag one! Arrived just a couple of days later.

I only gave 4 stars because the graphics are great, but I feel the xbox one x has better results for 4k hdr graphics. Other than that, I don't recommend upgrading to the pro if you have a base system until the ps5 comes out. Not too much of difference from slim or base ps4.

Currently the Best experience for gaming, i have every console. Best picture and frame rates. But not much else. Definitely not a media hub/media center. But thats not what i needed. Also best build quality by far of all the ps4's. Blows away the horrible slim build quality and performance.

PS4 is great but I don’t have a 4K tv go enjoy the full experience. However it’s much faster and gameplay is smoother.

I own 3 PS4 consoles and find the quality of the pro to be better. Having the extra memory space is a plus.

I have a 4k tv and now the ps4 pro. Definitely notice a huge difference in graphics. I'm not disappointed with my purchase.
