The PS4 Pro was very easy to assemble. It looks great, has a sleek design. As a first time ps4 owner and having a 4K display, I had to go with the Pro. It exceeded my expectations. It’s an incredible machine. Video games look amazing. The quality for streaming is great. The video quality is superb and the speeds are very fast and smooth. Love my new ps4 pro!! Thanks for Best Buy and special financing. The guys at Best Buy were very helpful and the process in store was quick and easy!

Love the speed, graphics, ease of use, variety of games and options available. Sony does it again. Everyone needs to enjoy this one.

Easy to setup. Quick to install (some games require longer install time but still fast). PSN is easy to purchase and use (for those who like online gaming or DLC). New PS4 Pro 4k graphics are amazingly realistic.

My boyfriend wanted this for so long. We just kinda waited for Black Friday. Although it wasn't much of a big discount we still bought the PRO version anyway alongside with our new 4k HDR TV. Best combination! <3

I've played the PS4 now for about 6-months and, so far, it is a great machine. The graphics are very nice. Although I haven't paired it to a 4K TV, the visuals are still very impressive. The unit is slim and very quiet when operational - the PS3 had a loud fan when running. The new controllers fit nicely in my hand. Overall, I'm enjoying the PS4. It functions very similarly to the PS3. But, I have to rebuild my game inventory since my PS3 games are not usable with the PS4.

My teenage son did the research and asked for this for Christmas even though he thinks he is paying for half. Can’t wait to see the smile on his face! Review may be edited after Christmas but I pray it doesn’t!

My first PS since the PS1. I specifically bought the PS4 Pro for PS only games. I have the Xbox One X and the two systems are comparable, no real advantage minus the exclusive games only offered on each system.

So, I purchased the original PS4 on a release date, upgraded to a 2TB hard drive, never had any issues. After all this time, I had purchased a 4K TV. Eventually, the idea of 4K gaming hit me, and I decided to buy the Pro. First off, I enjoy the fact that it comes with a hard drive of 1TB, a decent upgrade from the standard 500GB. Not quite 2TB, but I will likely change that down the road since Sony provides the tools to make this an easy switch (I hate external drives lying around my entertainment center). Secondly, just like the PS4, it was a breeze setting the configurations up to my TV, instantaneously recognizing the 4K capabilities. The crispness of the images was instantly seen. The average load/download of games is roughly the same as the PS4, so no major difference there. The games themselves though, wow! I, like many others, purchased God of War, which looks breathtaking in 4K. Additionally, I purchased Rise of the Tomb Raider and it plays and looks significantly better than when it was released with the Xbox One. I'm definitely looking forward to games in the future with the PS4 Pro. As far as the entertainment aspect goes, I'm definitely content with my decision to save more than $100 (including taxes) than purchasing the Xbox One X. I'm not going to sit here and bash it at all, because it's preference at the end of the day. My decision ultimately came down to the fact that I own nearly 1,000 films in my digital library, including 4K films, and I'm stepping away from physical media. There are many providers out there that are compatible with the PS4, and my films looks great with the PS4 Pro/4K TV combo. As much as I enjoyed my PS4 since launch, I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy the PS4 for the foreseeable future.

I bought PS 4 for my son and the shopping experience online was fast and easy. When the product arrived, it was very easy to install and play. The graphics are amazing and there are many games to choose from.

It's great. The fact that it's slim makes it easy to install and use. Comes with 1 remote and all wires to connect. I would recommend to other people and friends. Overall good product to purchase for anyone.

Previously owned the classic PS4 which I purchased on release. Over the years, with the evolution of PS4 games, I began to see dropped frames, and high amounts of lag. In the more recent games like God of War, the game was almost unplayable. Fast forward, I picked up a C8 OLED and the PS4 pro. It is far and away a better console than the original in game. There is still some lag, but overall a much better experience as I am now in 4K vs 1080. My only real gripe is how slow and laggy the basic menu is, especially with any program running in background. Pause Netflix to play a game... instant regret. Exit game to join voice chat, better have a minute to spare. Overall a huge step up from the original but not perfect. Biggest disappointment is the lack of 4K blu ray support, however I knew of this going in, and did not dock a star.

After limping along my aging xbox 360 for over a year I did some research into my Next Console. I tend to keep them a long time So didn't want to start out with a product that might be aged out in a year or so. that was my decision to go with the PRO version verses the standard version. the OS runs very smoothly, the controller is lightweight and comfortable and almost every App I want is available, and for those that aren't there is a browser to watch things like Motor Trend on Demand. setting up a childs profile wasn't very complicated at all to do. I created my PSN username ahead of time because typing with a controller is inconvenient over and over until you come across a name that isn't already taken.

Overall it’s Sony PlayStation. I’ve been using Sony since the ps1 and never have any complaints. The 1 tb pro version however is almost not necessary unless you’re really into video quality that spends thousand of dollars on your tv. For the avid gamer that has your normal tv save the money and get the normal version .

I finally decided to make the leap to a new console and I'm so happy I went big with the PS4 Pro! The 4k gaming is on a whole other level! If you're serious about gaming then this system is a no brainer!

Beautiful graphics, fast game response, and did I mention beautiful graphics? I have hooked this up side by side with PS 4 slim and the difference is amazing. I am definitely pleased with this purchase.

One of the best purchases I have made. I gave my ps4 to my nephew as a gift and bought this for myself for Christmas. On a 4K TV there is a difference in speed and graphics. I think it’s worth it. I do wish it was backwards compatible to at least the ps3. But other than that good system. I have all systems and am not biased to any one system. Since I have the Xbox One S for 4K I felt it would be complete to have the ps4 pro to complete the 4K experience.

Bought this as an upgrade to my baseline PS4 and so far I can certainly see improvements. Frame rates in certain games like CoD 4 are considerably more consistent and the graphics looks slightly better too, but overall it's not terribly dramatic. If it's your first time buying a PS4, the Pro is improved enough to warrent the extra $100. Otherwise, the incentives to upgrade are negligible.

Love that its 4k the memory on it is almost unlimited, great for a gift for husband or son. lightweight, easy to assemble.

A bit too loud, but expect great performance. Plays God of War in 60 whilst the slim goes for 30.

The PS4 Pro looks amazing wether you are playing games or streaming content from Netflix or amazon prime video. Load times are definitely faster than my PS4 and Fallout 4 and COD Zombies look amazing.
