Upgrade if you have a 4K tv. You will be blown away by the graphics and frame rate.

I've had a PS4 for a couple of years now and was always happy with it. Recently bought a 4K tv and thought I needed to upgrade my console with it. Horizon Zero Dawn is the only pro-optimized game I've played on it and it does look amazing, but my non-optimized games don't look noticeably better, though they do seem to run smoother. Connected to a 4K tv. Not sure why they couldn't get a 4K blue ray player in it, but with all the streaming options, it's not a big deal. If you already have a PS4, I'd recommend holding off on upgrading until they release the next console version.

I love the PS4 Pro. Does everything that has been advertised. I was never big on resolution and all that but the Pro matched with a 4K TV is outstanding!

Fast and graphics are amazing and the memory is more than wnough

One of the best choices I made was to upgrade from the PS4 to the PS4 Pro. Im connected to a HD 1080p tv and I still see the clarity of games and movie.

Had to upgrade my first ps4, I was tired of seeing the advantages my friends had over me with their 4k televisions and ps4 pro, couldn't be any happier

I don't have a 4k tv but I bought this for psvr. Graphics are less blurry than the og system which improves the immersion of being in virtual reality.

Bought this for my ex for Christmas he said there was a big difference between this and the regular but eventually said there was no difference but yea

Recently bought a new 4K TV and connected my PlayStation 4 release model to it. The PlayStation four looked great on the TV but it was somewhat lacking due to the fact that it is only able to output video at 1080p. In order to get the most out of my new TV I elected to buy the PlayStation 4 Pro Because it is able output video at 4K. I have been happy with this purchase and I cannot stop replaying a lot of my old games in 4K. The only drawback is that the hard drive is not large enough. Within minutes of buying the PlayStation, I bought a 2TB hard drive.

All in all, I bought this in order to get the most out of my PS4 games. However, I am disappointed by the lack of a 4K Blu-Ray player, especially when Sony was one of the pioneers of the format. But if you can put that complaint aside, it’s a solid choice if you want to experience the most out of your PS4 library

If you don't have a PS4 and have a 4K TV, you might as well get this over the regular PS4. If you already have a regular PS4 and a 4K TV, it's probably not worth the cost of an upgrade, unless you can sell your old one, or you're like me, and wanted a PS4 to keep at your girlfriend's house. You'd be hard pressed to notice the improvement in graphics or general performance unless you're viewing the games side by side (which you won't be). It'd be easier to recommend if Sony included a 4K Blu Ray player, but they didn't. There are cheaper (and better) ways to get 4K content from Netflix and YouTube, etc. Is the PS4 Pro a good system? Yes, but they could have (and should have) charged a bit more and included a bit more.

Needed a extra ps4 and more storage. Runs faster and looks better

Heck. Its great! The very first game I played was Broforce.. shooting bad guys.. blood and guts.. it ran the side scrolling 16 bit game with ease.

The PS4 does not disappoint. Able to hook up pretty easily to my existing TV/Receiver/Cable system. My son is now shooting everything that moves (COD III), and we got the virtual reality bundle, for which there are no words--you just have to experience it. Still so much to learn about this system and what all it's capable of... A big plus for me has been having a new Blu-Ray player (our previous one being a bit elderly and glitchy at times) and the seamless transition of getting Netflix & Amazon Prime video, which we use often, through our PS4. We used the internet browser feature to watch a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch on the big screen (with surround sound!) as well. I do wish it had come with a remote for the TV watching--exploring my options there at present--but the Dual Shock controller suffices for now. One other wish: though in the balance, when comparing this with xBox features, PS4 came out ahead, there does not exist any sort of time limit-setting for keeping under-age gamers honest about their minutes. You can control social network interactions and the stuff they could be exposed to as far as maturity (regarding game level, internet browsing, etc.), but I should think that a 'taxi meter' style counter that shuts 'em down after they've reached X cumulative minutes on the system in a day would be quite useful.

Bought this for my son to replace old Ps4. NIce graphics, fast & lots of storage.

Absolutely wonderful would buy again not much difference in graphic maybe because my tv upscale regular 1080 to 4k but perfomance snappier for sure

I was so skeptical that the PS4 Pro would look any different from a standard PS4....I was wrong. This system compliments my new Sony 4K TV very well. It made games more detailed and realistic without suffering from lag that most TV may have. I played a demo for Rise of the Tom Raider and it was jaw dropping and that was the beginning. There is a ton more content out to be explored.

The Pro definitely has a noticable upgrade when you play games you can see they look much better on the Pro!!! I am very glad I upgraded to the Pro!

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and his eyes lit up. The second we got home he opened it and started setting it up. He says 10/10.
