I already had a ps4 but bought this specifically for the higher framer rates, best psvr experience, and to a lesser extent 4K. It was disappointing it didn't have the 4K blu ray, which meant I also run an Xbox one S. I've noticed quicker load times and smoother play. But for most gamers on a tight budget you'll get 90% of the experience with a standard version. Get this if you're running a very large format 4K tv or psvr and you want no compromises. Also Boost mode does give a noticeable increase in frame rate to some of the older games. 1TB hd is still too small but glad external support for playable games, not just backups, and internal upgrades are now available up to 8TB.

I've never had a playstation 4 prior to this purchase, but I've been so happy that I now have one. I think the new hardware design is nice and I really appreciate the one terabyte of onboard storage. I'm hoping to have this system bring me many years of gaming enjoyment.

Good graphics. Plenty of storage and memory. Play it more than my Xbox 1.

I haven't owned a game system in many years but decided to take the leap and get the PS4 Pro 1TB. So far I have to say the graphics are sick!

Well worth the money, assuming you have 4K TV. The 4K graphics are beautiful. It makes for more realistic, and beautiful gaming experience.

I bought this unit to complement my new 4K television. It's everything that the PS4 was and a bit more. The PS4 Pro differs from the PS4 in video capability as well as has a USB 3.0 connector on the backside which allows connection of an external HDD for storage expansion (whereas PS4 only has USB 3.0 ports on the front). Playing games in 4K resolution is nice, but it should be noted that this device is incapable of playing 4K movies. If you're seeking that capability (i.e., 4K Blu-ray player), you should looks to the Xbox One X.

Love my ps4 day 1 edition but this ps4 pro edition is way better n well worth the additional $$.

Got the pro instead of the slim since I already had a 4k hdr tv. Games like The last of us and Tomb raider can be run at higher res or higher frames. For me personally the higher frame rates alone made the pro worth it. Playing The Last of Us at 60fps makes the entire experience better. I hope more developers push towards the option of high frames or higher graph fidelity, but currently many aren't. Just picked up FF15 and currently it only supports super sampling on the pro which to me doesn't make a huge difference. I'd much prefer it to have higher frame rates. I hope to see more pro support in future games. In short buy the pro if you care about higher frame rates and have a 4k tv.

Sold my slim for this, handles games a lot better than the standard ps4. Supercharged indeed. Ample space. You can’t go wrong with a pro !!

I own the regular PS4 and now the pro and I really like the update which includes better graphics and processing speeds. Totally love it!!

Purchased the PS4 Pro Console for my husband for Christmas, but ended up giving it to him sooner! So easy to hook up. Graphics are great.

I would recommend anyone that is a gamer to purchase this product. It has a lot of memory to upload any game that you would like to have.

Does everything my other PS4 did, but has better graphics. And, this time I don't have to replace the hard drive. I comes with a 1TB HD.

I’ve been a PS guy since PS1. My PS4 still works and I still use it. But my PS4 Pro is just too good. I’m using it on a a Sony 850 4K TV. All content is better. Streaming in 4K and upscaled BluRays. Most games either look great and or play great. HDR support is really good. Constant 60fps is nice on Black Ops as well. Worth the buy.

If you have a 4K TV, you need a PS4 pro. The difference in picture and color is life changing. The extra harddrive space is welcome too.

Having been an XBOX owner for many years it was time to get a new console to play some of the games that were coming out that were only for the newer generation consoles. My choice ultimately came down to the console specific games available for each. I have not been disappointed. Performance and graphics are both great, no complaints at all.

Awesome entertainment system. Graphics are phenomenal. Most comfortable controller ever. MKXL bringing back memories of my youth.

Decided to go with the PRO after looking at the SLIM. It's a good thing i did. Performance is not an issue. Everything works well. A++
