Yes I cannot put 4K movies into it but who buys movies anymore? I bought it specifically to reduce load times and for 4K gaming and because I'm a Sony Fanboy. If this review doesnt resonate with you then just go for the regular PS4 slim bundle. It does basically the same thing for a lot less!

Def a change but not a game changer over the regular PS. Kind of wish I waited for the ps5 later in 2020.

Best Console Ever

Hits like God of war, Horizon zero dawn, Detroit Become Human, Uncharted, Last of us and more to come in the future really make this console unique. All my friends have a PS4 and those that purchased Xbox ended up switching to PS4. Hands down best console

PS4 Pro a game system you need

It may not be necessary to purchase a pro if you own the other version, but if you are a first time buyer I would certainly purchase a PS4 Pro. It is quiet, the OS is easy to use, and game look great. Even better if you own a 4k television as well. Its a lot of muscle for 400 dollars.

Around that same time, my stand-alone Blu-ray player had died, so I needed a replacement as a way of watching my disc-based movies. I was very pleased to see this back in stock!
