This is a great upgrade for current PS4 owners even if you don't own a 4k TV. The system has a "Boost Mode" option that slightly enhances games even if they don't have a Pro patch. If you have a normal 1080p TV, you can still benefit from the increased power of the Pro. Having a sharper 1080p image along with a steadier frame rate for some games that might have had framerate problems.

After researching the reviews and specifications before the purchase I was prepared that this system would not play 4K movies, it only upscales it (which for an untrained eye is the same). I do enjoy the fact that the system doesn't get as hot and includes more storage than the previous model. Overall this is the best PS4 model to date

I'd been scoping out the PS4 for a while, having been a longtime Nintendo person. But with the exclusive titles on PS4, it was time. After doing the research, I decided the PRO model was the way to go. It plays amazing, looks amazing on my TV, and it's been hard to put the controller down!

I upgraded to the Pro to take full advantage of my recently purchased 4K HDR TV. So far, I am truly enjoying the results. The PS$ PRO is powerful enough to truly take advantage of the 4K features and I can't wait for the next range of games coming out for PS4 Pro.

I finally upgraded to a PS4 and glad that I bought the new 4k. The games look great in 4k and the VR is a lot of fun.

awesome graphics, the 1TB hard drive comes in handy as well. if you bundle this with a 4k TV, you will not regret it.

Got a very good deal on Black Friday. Must have if you own a 4k TV, from menus to games they look nicer, load faster.

Best gaming system to date. Bigger storage than my white destiny edition I got from two years ago... good price too.

I'm not surprised to say that the PS4 Pro absolutely lives up to standards. It works great and is always fun to use!

Purchased as Christmas gift. I went through ratings and experience by other buyers...I'm hoping it lives up to hype.

I had some extra gift cards lying around and decided to upgrade to the PS4 Pro from the launch PS4. I didn't expect to see much difference but it really was a noticeable upgrade acrooss the board from the increased resolution (noticeable even in 1080p) to the increased frame rate (everything looks much more fluid) and the big difference in remote play performance when the wife takes over the tv (the launch PS4 struggled with this feature severely especially at its max 720p, the Pro can stream 1080p without issues assuming you have a good ISP). On a side note the new slightly reworked controllers seem much better designed on the triggers and thumb sticks and seem to last an hour or two longer than the old design. Overall I was pleasantly surprised to find the Pro performing much better than I expected and would recommend it to anyone that likes to game. Happy Gaming my friends!

I have always preferred the PlayStation over any other video game console. The movies are crisp and clear on my T.V.

I was looking for a console to play video games for streaming and honestly the ps4 pro is AMAZING! It allows you to broadcast with the click of a button. And if you have a 4K tv the graphics are AMAZING! I use to mainly play on Xbox but since I’ve gotten this I haven’t even reached for my Xbox.

Great upgrade from standard PS4. Glad I did for 4k gaming. Good holdover until next gen consoles start coming out.

For gaming this is a monster. UI, disc installs and software downloads are very fast. The games are ohhh so pretty. This is an excellent machine so far. I just wish it had a UHD player. 2K HDR is worth it for people with 1080p televisions. Good thing is you are future proof with the PS4 Pro. But for my 4K HDR brethren. Lol enjoy

I was having issues with my original PS4. Updated because the old one was having issues and would flicker on screen with my new HDR setup. The new PS4 has no issues and is noticeably faster and has way better performance. I also use it to stream 4K content from Amazon and Netflix and everything looks great

Needed to get a system compatible with our 4k tv. This one has all the compatibility and a large amount of memory.

I had the regular playstation 4 and was amazed when I upgraded to the Ps4 Pro it looks amazing with a 4K tv. I also like that it's 1 terabyte and when you pair it with another hardrive you don't have to worry about deleting games. Overall I'm a big fan of this console and all the exclusives that come with playstation

PS4 Pro is the way to go!!! The controller is compact and the buttons are easy to find. The picture is clear with an array of games to choose from. If you’re going to switch to a Play Station console or you’re looking to invest/uprgrade to the newest Play Station console. The PS4 pro is the way to go! Ps: don’t just take my advice, look through the reviews and do your own research. YouTube is a great place to go and get in depth reviews concerning any gaming console.

Upgraded my regular PS4 and this pro is so fast, clean looking, and great so far! Definitely got great deal on it!
