Sometimes buying an upgraded version of a product that works fine the way it is would be a waste of money, but that is not the case with the PS4 pro. Certain games take advantage of the 4K technology and the console is faster than standard.

Definitely worth the upgrade, though if you're on an older PS4 and want to upgrade to a slim, it's not worth it, unless you upgrade to a pro model. I put a solid state drive on my PS4 Pro and I'm already noticing how fast load times are.

The PS4 pro is an excellent value for the price if you are looking to move to the next level of gaming. The upgraded hardware make the gameplay much better and the 4K gaming and upgraded vr make this worth the extra cost over the PS4 slim.

What can I say about this product that hasn’t already been said? Maybe the fact that the Pro is definitely a great buy due to the difference in quality of what you see on the screen. Definitely worth the money!

I didn't have a next gen console until now. I was on the fence between getting slim bundle or Pro. Pro was a great purchase. Playstations tend to drop their framerates depending on the game. I haven't experienced this yet. Overall happy.

We a proud owners of three PS4 and one PS3. Every being in this household uses playstation. As a mother I'm thankful to have this device to distract my children with on busy days when all they wish to do is argue.

We bought this game controller for our grandsons age 14 and 17 for Cristmas. They were pleased with it and I have heard nothing from them but praise for the system. I would buy another one based on this experience.

So far so good. Not a big difference from my original PS4 bt I will by this one before I would buy the slim.

We have really enjoyed the PS4. It's easy to use and there are a variety of applications available for download. We were glad that we upgraded the system as we have a 4K TV and the picture is great on it!

At first I was skeptical about the graphics, but after playing a few games, I'm sold! This console is great!

Got this system for the exclusives and it has not disappointed. I honestly think that the Xbox's UI is a bit better and more user- friendly, but that's about it. Enjoy splitting my time between the two systems.

This was a replacement of a older unit. The new model is much faster and there is a lot of games available.

I upgraded from PS4 and was impressed with the improvement in graphic and speed difference. I also like the 1 TB hard drive. The VR improvement alone (2x) was worth it in terms of graphical improvement. The fact that they don't have 2 HDMI ports one for the VR and one for the TV is frustrating and the reason why not 5 stars. I have a 4K HDR TV and I can't get HDR because I have to pass my HDMI cable through the VR unit, which has no HDR passthrough.

The Playstation 4 was already a great console. Great performance in a great design. This PS 4 Pro ups it on every level. If you have a 4K TV, the difference is immediately noticeable. If you don't, then stick with the standard PS 4 model.

Bought awhile back, played a few games and movies. But recently haven't been using it as much as I need to. Had issues connecting to wifi at hotels, when Xbox had no problem.

Purchased the Pro thinking it would add to the enhanced graphics of a 4k TV. I see no difference in graphics quality of speed as the system claims. Looks somewhat better in HDR, but overall not worth upgrading from a regular PS4. I find load times actually take longer. Not worth your money!!

Playstation has always been my favorite gaming system and i bought this one to replace my old PS4 but it’s kinda self explanatory, this system is awesome and I’m a huge playstation fan!

Don’t be cheap and get the base model get the pro you will be glad you did.

I made this purchase as a birthday gift for my daughter and she loves it! The variety of games available and the quality are outstanding! I love it for because we can also watch movies!

Though it doesn't have a 4K Bluray drive; this machine is a solid upgrade. Is it necessary? Depends on how you look at it and how developers continue to support it. Either way, buy if you don't already own a PS4 or wait and see if you do.
