Ended up having to replace my original ps4 from 5-6 years ago, I hated to spend the money but I knew I was getting a solid gaming system and I would recommend purchase to anyone needing a gaming system.

had to buy a pro because the slim doesnt come with all the ports i need to use an astro mixamp with it ie a digital optical port this comes with everything i need and great games on it

I took a long time being convinced by on line reviews that it was worth upgrading to the PRO.... Soooo glad i did- WOW. Could not believe the color and detail difference. I am using a 4k TV... If you have a 4k, do not hesitate

I originally bought the PS4 slim bundle with star wars Battlefront 2 for $300 which was good but then a week later I seen the Pro on sale for 350 and couldn't pass up the deal to go with my new 4k 65in TV. I love this thing the resolution is great but the biggest noticeable difference was the download time. When I had the slim it took over 3 hours to download the new call of duty ww2 and with the Pro it downloaded in 45min.

I already had my standard ps4, but I upgraded specifically for my PSVR. Not extreme...but noticeable difference, and worth it for me. but considering I have the extra money to spend on it, it really depends on your own situation.

I'm not sure if I would fully recommend this to anyone who already has a regular PS4, but it is definite visual upgrade if you have a 4K tv. Storage is a little bit more, but a terabyte still doesn't seem to be enough. Streaming in 4K looks a little better, but just be sure you have enough bandwidth to handle it, or it won't do you any favors. Otherwise, everything is great, and you'll get the quality you'd expect out of Sony's console.

So excited to hear about the pro. Got it for the HDR offerings promised in Mass Effect Andromeda. Anywho it's worth any penny for anyone that doesn't have be ability to game on PC. Sony has the best console hands down. Solid device

It's a PS4 Pro, so you kind of already know what to expect from it. I got this to play some PS4 titles. It's been working pretty well, and I've been happy with it so far.

Love it....Well I should say my hubby loves the pro. Goes great with his Sony Bravia 4K tv. I didn't think there would honestly be much difference between the pro and the ps4, but you can see that the colors are more vivid.

I love my PlayStation 4. I have always been an Xbox player but this system changed me to a Sony fanboy. The remote gaming from any PC is the best feature by far

We bought this for improvement of refresh rates / motion for the VR. We've noticed a huge improvement! Also cool that it plays 3D videos with the VR. If you aren't using the VR for the Pro, I don't notice very much improvement.

How wrong can you go with all the exclusive games for this awsome console well it can't compare to a PC Master race build but it gets the job done with titles like Spiderman battle field and much more.

The PlayStation 4 console is awesome. I've admired the PS Spider-Man game since Xmas (among other games) and was SO happy when I received this console as my birthday present. It's a great investment!

upgraded to a 4k tv so i upgraded from a standard ps4 to a pro. im glad i did. can see difference like night and day. highly recommended to all the gamers out there who is thinking about upgrading!!

Had this for a couple years now. I jumped off the “next-gen, graphics enhanced” etc etc train awhile ago. This gets the job done even with current titles. Only downside is that as games become more and more enhanced and geared toward next-gen graphics - the frame rate drops a bit and lags. Overall, super satisfied. Just wish the controller was more like the Xbox.

I use my playstation console for everything. gaming, watching dvd's, social media - everything. the playstation console will declutter your media center and eliminate the cost for other pricy electronic devices.

I wouldn't say I regret getting the Pro...but I would only recommend it to some where $400 really doesn't matter. To my eyes, there isn't a huge difference in the 4K (usually checkerboard) games during actual gameplay. If you pause the game and change settings, yeah, you can see it...but it's nothing amazing. I wish developers would focus on using the extra power for improved framerates instead of resolution (some do...but most don't)
