The PS4 Pro is a somewhat more powerful PS4. It's not a huge upgrade but it's only 100$ more than the slim model. It's an easy choice due to its increased processing power and optical audio which the slim lacks.

Good system tends to have problems with hdmi but overall faster them regular ps4

love this ps4 downloads are faster and 4k gaming is were its at at 60fps its a easy choice too make if you own a ps4 and was on the fence on the upgrade

As my son is 16 he is quite intelligent when it comes to technology and says this one has better enhance sound lightning and Views when playing the game and Playstation is smart in making this Pro 4 PS.

The PlayStation 4 Pro is an excellent gaming console that has a large variety of games to play as well as the ability to serve other entertainment needs such as watching movies and listening to music.

Was looking at PS4 and PS4 pro. Being able to handle PSVR the way it's supposed to be was deciding factor. So far I am very happy with the purchase. Great system with some great games that look amazing.

So I have always been an Xbox guy and decided to get this PS4 pro and absolutely love it. More than just a gaming system it's an entertainment system!!! I will buy a ps5 when it comes out

As said above does not play 4k dvds. Picture is nice with the 4k tv

This device allows my family to watch Blu-Ray movies, play a variety of video games ranging from the beginning PS days to now and browse the internet with ease. It's sure made the price worth the investment.

I was previously still using my ps3 so when I heard they released a ps4 pro version I decided it was finally time to upgrade. The difference is huge coming from a ps3. There is an issue where the "auto" settings for video cause the TV to just go to a black screen with no signal and you have to reboot the ps4 in safe mode to change the video settings manually. Sony says it's up to the particular TV manufacturers that have this issue to upgrade their firmware to fix this. I have a Vizio that's about a year old and supports the 4k 60 frames the ps4 can output but for the auto setting not to work properly was a huge issue to see right when I was doing the initial setup thinking this was the greatest thing out at the moment and instantly I faced a black screen and no idea why my new system wasn't working. The problem does affect other brands of TVs and it's documented online. So if you set it to auto, and loose image you have to reboot to safe mode and set the video to something specific that your TV can handle rather than have the convenience of the ps4 optimizing your experiences based on source and TV automatically. That's why I dropped to 3 stars. Otherwise it's fantastic.

The PS4 pro is a much more quiet machine. I read reviews saying it was "louder" than the previous iterations. Try playing Mass Effect on an old one, it sounded like my PS4 was going to explode. I love the Pro.

My daughter absolutely loves this game wanted to get her the ps5 but was always sold out but she said it’s cool she has the ps4. I love playing it with her

If you want to have best graphics on your new 4K TV get PS4Pro. I wish Sony put 4K Bluray player into it. I don't play lots of games on it now but Horizon Zero Down looks amazing in 4K HDR on 65" LG OLED TV.

We are at the end of the PlayStation’s life cycle, but there is so much to be said for the time that remains plus the back catalog of games is pretty much unbeatable in its current state

Awesome system. Even if you arent playing games, it is great for blu rays and HD streaming. Very fast buffering. Handles a LOT of use every day! Glad I got the pro!

the console is okay, it looks a lot better than the last P S4 that we purchased recently.
