Playing f1 2017, the graphics alone are unbelievably real. Fast!

I was very happy with my 1TB gold PS4 Slim, but it only output 1080p. I recently purchased a new 4k TV, and decided to upgrade my PS4 too now that some of the games coming out support 4k output. And wow. What a difference. It's subtle, but it looks gorgeous. I could swing around the city all day as Spider-Man, or ride around New Hanover as Arthur Morgan, just admiring how beautiful everything looks. I can't wait to see what the next games look like, and even better yet, look forward to a ps5! Unfortunately, the PS4 PRO doesn't play 4k Ultra HD discs, but it does support Blu-Ray. Not a show stopper for me, but would've been nice to have that little extra built in. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with this purchase. Yee Haw y'all!

Works well. Doesn't play 4k dvd's. Graphics for games are legit.

Being more of a PC gamer and the knowledge of having to pay for PlayStation Plus to play online at first deferred me from the next gen console, but there is something so comfortable about being on my couch and gaming after being at work all day on a computer. Given I have dedicated hundreds of hours to Destiny and the new FFXV coming out, I pulled the trigger and am so glad I did. The GUI is great, the power of the Pro is amazing, games are gorgeous, the sleep mode allows me to jump right back into a game with virtually no load time and PS+ has wonderful deals (Rise of the Tomb Raider for 50% off?! Yes please!). I highly recommend the PS PRO.

This console makes things look and run better than the base PS4.... however, this also gets really loud depending on how demanding the game is. Not to mention that Sony needs to improve the cooling of this thing.

This is my first PlayStation console. I've been an Xbox gamer since the original and a PC gamer since before that. I am very impressed by the 4K graphics while playing games, better than my current PC (4th gen i7, 12GB RAM, nvidia GTX 750ti) which admittedly is a bit outdated. The framerate is smooth and with HDR the contrast is stunning. I was surprised at how small the console was, barely larger than my Xbox One S, and it runs fairly quiet aside from when installing data from a disc. As far as gaming graphical quality goes, the PS4 Pro is the best console on the market. Let me make it explicitly clear that in order to see the benefits you need a mid to upper range 4K tv, with HDR and 120Hz+ refresh rate. If you're still on a standard HD 1080p tv, don't bother with this console, just get the PS4 Slim.

This PS4 Pro has awesome graphics, It runs much quieter and cooler than the previous PlayStation. It is a bit smaller as well. If you have a 4k TV this makes a great add on. It also has faster WiFi an extra USB port and optical audio.
