Compared to the original ps4..the PRO console is consistent, lag free, and never has any hiccups! Very brilliant colors and a true 4k feel in the gaming world. New controller feels great. Great investment for Playstaition fans.

Everything runs faster via the pro. After using the PS4 for things like movies and games everything runs faster. The picture is great my tv is also hdr quality so the pro certainly helps give a better pic. Worth every penny

Since launch day of the first PS4 I held back on purchasing it, not because I am an Xbox fan, but at the time there were not that many exclusives for the PS4 that truly captured my attention; the exclusives at the time were not 'Console sellers'. I waited until something came around or enough Japanese tittles piled up that interested me to purchase the PS4. The years went by and the time for the PS4 Pro was suddenly upon us. Like before, I did not purchase it right away. Horizon Zero Dawn was the game that made me want to purchase this console and the upcoming title of 'Days Gone'. Initial Pros: - Graphics are slightly better than expected, but are not 'game changers' by any means. - Looks sleek compared to my bulk Xbox One (Day One Edition) - Smooth gameplay if you opt for performance and not graphics in the game's menu Initial Cons: - Battery life on the controller is rather short, I get approximately 4 - 6 hours max of gameplay out of one full charge. I hear that is about average, but I get at least twice that much on my Xbox One controller. - In game audio stutter. I don't know if this is just my controller, but no matter what headset I use, I cannot get rid of this in game audio stutter. It does not happen all the time, but it does happen enough to be annoying; also, when this happens, the controller seems to slightly loose connectivity with the PS4 Pro cause a slight lag in the response of button input. Overall I am pleased with y purchase and do not regret it. I will be going into Best Buy to see if they can do anything concerning my controller.

I'm really impressed with my PS4 Pro. I've been using Xbox's exclusively for years now and just decided to try out PS again. My PS4 Pro is more reliable and easier to use than my Xbox One. I use it mostly for Video playback; Plex, Netflix, and YouTube. I really like their way of using Spotify to play your own music during games, much better than the 'snap' thing the Xbox does. One comment about the PS4 Pro. Not all 4K TV's are going to just work. Something to do with the way the TV and PS4 communicate with each other over the HDMI cable to determine resolution. Make sure you check reviews of your TV being used with a PS4 Pro before purchasing. I am very happy with my PS4 Pro and have already recommended it to quite a bit of my friends. My GF loves it too.
