Recently had the HDMI failure with my slim PS4 and needed a replacement fast! I decided to go pro just to take advantage of my new 4k TV. It is noticeably faster and the 4k picture is amazing.

We just upgraded to this ps4 pro from the regular ps4 and this one is a lot nicer. The graphics look better and it seems to be faster. I also think this one looks much sleeker than the regular ps4.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this gaming system! It's my first gaming system and everything has been great. From the memory to the easy use format. I definitely recommend this gaming system to new gamers.

The graphics are tremendous, the colors and animation come out clean and fresh, as if it were being played on a 4K TV, which I don’t have. Easy to install and a blast to enjoy.

The PS4 Pro is a step above the regular unit. Graphics flow much better and rarely see the screen stall between frames. Could not keep cleaning the fan on the old unit so stepped it up. Faster memory and CPU.

Great graphics and when used with a 4K tv, it really shows what the PS4 is capable of, and the memory is great nothing less than I hoped for. It's my sons Bday present but we can all definitely enjoy it!

The HDR label on the box won't do it's justice until you experience it. Make sure you have a 4K HDR compatible TV. The graphics, game-play, storyline, rendering, color spectrum, and resolution are enhanced for one of a kind gaming experience with the PS4 Pro. Some side notes: I upgraded the hard drive on the console to 2 TB Firecuda SSHD and so far has been running flawlessly. I also transfered all data (about 1 TB) from previous console and had no issues or data corruption. Really loving the PS4 Pro console so far.

For the last decade I’ve only owned Xboxes. No particular reason, it was just what my friends had so I never thought to much about it. However, I became very interested in playing a few exclusives, particularly The Last of us 1 and 2. Although the 4K features aren’t as great in this console, the games, the controller and the accessories are much better than I expected. Games looked great in 4K and it sounded great on my surround sound set up as well. I also feel like it’s less glitchy than Xbox. I’m definitely going to buy the PlayStation 5. I didn’t realize what I was missing!

I had a PlayStation 3 so this is a upgrade to the PS4 Pro version. It has good game play and graphics as you expect. Easy setup and quick network connection.

This has plenty of memory for whatever you need my current PlayStation 4 would not allow me to download new games. This is plenty of memory and great picture and very quiet compared to any other PlayStation

What can i saw its a PS4, if you know you know, however the PS4 pro is more powerful then the regular PS4 and you can turn ur games graphics up or alternatively increase your frame rates.

Graphics look better. Bought it to boost Horizan, and it was beautiful! Was warned about the fan getting louder as I played but haven't come across that yet and I play the 'S' out of it. Would buy again.

With a 4K- and HDR signal compatible with newer TVs and better visuals and increased frame rates and, of course, the 1TB hard drive this is huge improvement

PlayStation 4 is a great game system and plays blue ray cds. An entertainment double threat. My new HP computer is exceptionally fast and easy to use. The Geek squad did an excellent job setting up and installing both systems. A very professional job and a detailed explanation to cover usage on both purchases.

I purchased the Pro about a year after I purchased the original PS4. I game on a 1080p screen so I was really just looking to increase performance and frame rates which it has done fairly well. Seems to be a lot quieter and load times have improved on older games with the latest firmware update. Overall I'm pleased but not completely blown away by it. Not a necessary update if you already own a PS4.

If you already own the previous PS4 and not the PS4 Pro, it may not be worth the upgrade. You'll definitely need a 4K TV to get the most out of the PS4 Pro. Great graphics and I haven't noticed any lag while playing graphically demanding games such as Uncharted 4. It doesn't support 4K Blu Ray, but I personally purchase my movies digitally via Google Play and stream them through my Chromecast Ultra 4K and you can still stream 4K shows and movies in the Netflix, Amazon and a few other apps although the selection is limited at this time. If you absolutely need a 4K Blu Ray player and game system, then you'll want to get an Xbox One S. I prefer the PS4 Pro due to the games exclusively for that system and the optional VR.

Traded in my original Ps4 for the Ps4 Pro. It does add some noticeable improvements on a lot of games (if the game has the option) and it is capable of steaming in 4K. I would recomend this only if you already have a 4K capable TV with HDR and an internet connection that can support 4K content. Biggest downside is the Pro does not have a 4K blu ray player, this was a missed opportunity for Sony.

I bought this console because the other one that I had started to spit out my discs without me pushing any buttons so it was getting tedious that it will occur during a game. This console is the Pro and to this date I do not see any difference opposed to my other day-one console and I have a 4k TV. Maybe it shows better colors but to me it's the same thing just more expensive; nonetheless, I am still satisfied with this console because is not spitting out my games hehe. I don't use the goggles because those things make my eyes hurt overtime so I have zero input on that side for this console.

If you have a 4k TV, buy it. If you don't, then buy one if you want to have better graphics and higher FPS. I know not all games are configured for it but some old games are being patched to be compatible.

my guy hasn't played a game for years, he kept talking about getting one so i got it for him for christmas, he loves it. it is easy to use and the graphics are great, i even get a kick out of watching him.
