Bought this device for my boy and Im goad I did its an upgrade to his old play station. It was worth everything I spent on it and more. The picture quality and performance is superb.

I think upgrading to the PS4 Pro is worth it.......I am noticing faster performance and better graphics since purchasing this unit..........if you can afford it........go for it!!!

The PS4 Pro is a very slight update. Let's face it, they really want to reel you win with all the buzz about the new processing speed, HDR, etc. Honestly, the PS4 as it is is a beast. This is just made for 4K TV owners mainly, but you can still reap the nice upgrade and enjoy a more robust engine and faster load times (sort of) I am a PlayStation fan through and through but I also love my Xbox One S.The 2 new consoles are fantastic pieces of machinery and both do amazing jobs of rendering their games. I guess it's a matter of choice. Entirely they are both great machines and have amazing libraries of exclusive content and the general titles.

I have been looking to upgrade my PS4 to match my 4K TV, also purchased at Best Buy. Happy to say the results look great and I can now use 5.0Ghz for a better experience.

This was the 2nd pro I've bought as our 1st broke. My son loves the quality of the picture as he is playing his games and the added storage.

We’re new to PS4 but have a PS3. The PS4 Pro has great graphics and so far plays super smooth. Hopefully we continue to love it for a long while.

The pro gives better graphics and better performance over all. If you want a system that could do it better go with the pro.

I have a PS4 and thought about getting the new pro and I'm not dissapointed. especially in a 4k tv. omg does it look great. just wished i had a 4k HDR tv. it would look a lot better

I absolutely love my PS4 PRO. It definitely is a worthy upgrade to my release PS4, and pairing it with my Sony 75XBR850D really shows what 4K is all about. If you only need 4K gaming and streaming, them this is the one for you. Sorry no 4K Blu-ray. Look to the xb1x for that.

Bought for my new tv. Great system, don t know if worth the money for the 4k upgrade though.

I've been playing Playstation since 1995. It's impressive how far the technology has come. I updated my PS4 to the pro because of the graphic and HDR upgrades. It pairs well with my 65 inch Sony 930D. The graphics are updated on some of the games with an example being Tomb Raider. I have a Samsung 1T SSD in it so the loads are quick as always. I have noticed that the physical media loads pretty quick too. I was not concerned it didn't play 4K media as I already have the Samsung 4K Bluray player. But that's just me.

I highly recommend upgrading to the pro even if you don't have a 4K television. The load times are faster, the frame rate is increased, and the overall performance is better.

I upgraded from the 1st gen base model. Absolutely a huge difference. Right off I noticed a big difference in load up times, the overall smoothness of transitioning from one screen to the next and through the menus. I love to play Call of Duty and even in the Black Ops 4 Blackout mode, there was a big difference in the speed and quality of how the graphics were rendered and displayed even without a 4K TV. For me, it was an upgrade that was well worth it and I would recommend the PS4 pro model to anyone who loves to game and wants the best system on the market!

My old one was end of life, dragging one leg down the road. So I decided to upgrade. WOW on the 4k capability and the speed. The 1 tb drive is nice too.

I bought my son the first generation PS4 and that unit was so loud and generated so much heat. The playstation 4Pro is quiet and and doesn't get as hot.

My original first generation PS4 crapped out on me. The PS4 Pro has better graphics (if you have a 4K TV) and has way more storage. Purchasing this was a no brainer.

This is a must buy. Sony ps4 is great for kids and adults. The pro has better graphics with 4 k and more memory storage. The item is light in weight and doesnt take up much space.

I've always been console agnostic but found myself almost exclusively using my Xbox One and then Xbox One S for the past year and a half or so. I owned an original PS4 and ended up selling it a few months back as I hadn't been using it and felt I'd be getting a Pro at some point. I also ended up getting a 4K tv. I decided to fire up The Last of Us remastered to test it out, and wow... even for an upgraded PS3 game, the 4K and smooth frame rate make for an amazing experience. I can't wait wait for Horizon Zero Dawn and the Last of Us 2. If releasing newer more powerful versions of consoles more often is the way of the future, sign me up.

Love this console. Just what the husband wanted for his birthday although I play it more. Great speed and just enough memory

I was skeptical about upgrading my old PS4 to this. But I’m all sold now it was a great investment. I am planning on buying a 4K monitor with 1ms response time, with this things will flow like a charm. Boost mode is great ! Compared to my old PS4 this is much more quieter!
