Improvement from PS4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The increase in power from the previous PS4 is very noticeable. I have been an XboX owner forever, and figured I'd give Sony a try, finally. So far I am not disappointed. Although Playstation Vue™ is an additional cost to the Playstation™ online.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ps4 Pro is well worth the upgrade, even on 1080 tv. I notice it is a lot quicker and games look a lot better. Love playing Horizon Zero Dawn on the Pro!

It is what it is!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality and performance is great. It has comfortable setup and user friendly manuals a 10 year old can run it for the first time! Yet it has a sleek design. No problem so far with light use. Loading of games and ... is relatively fast. Good purchase

A New Quieter PS4 Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to this new model the CUH-7200 series because they were reviewed to be much quieter than the older models. If you've ever played intense games like Uncharted 4 and Spiderman you'll know that the system gets very loud, so much for me I could hear it over my TV speakers. Not this model, it's super quiet though not as quiet as the Xbox One models but not to far off either. The fact that I can hear my games now over the system is wonderful. Make sure before you buy a PS4 Pro to get the CUH-7200 series.

Great upgrade to an already amazing system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own both consoles, PS4 and XBOX One. I have a 4K HDR television so decided to sell my old PS4 and pick up a PS4 Pro. I can say I'm very happy with the performance increase and games running in HDR look amazing. I think that developers still need a little time with the system before we truly see games worth spending money to upgrade but games like Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn should help sell the PS4 Pro. And even if you don't have a 4K television the Pro runs games at solid frames in 1080P. Highly recommend getting the PS4 Pro if you want the best PS4 gaming experience.

Great for 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a 4k you have to get a PS4 Pro. Great upgrade to many games' graphics and I am looking forward to future games to take advantage of this further.

Skip the Slim model and purchase this one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you were waiting on pulling the trigger on a PlayStation, I would choose this one over the other models. For one the slim model doesn't have an optical input. This is important for games like rock band and rocksmith where sound latency is an issue. It comes with a terabyte of hard drive space but with the recent update you can add an external hard drive up to 8 terabytes provided it's USB 3.0 What makes this "pro" is that some games have options to take advantage of the extra power this console provides. What those advantages are, are left to the developers of each game. HDR, frame rate, load times, etc. There is also a "boost mode" you can activate in the settings that will help with every other game you play. I can finally say my games look just like the fancy store displays with crisp ultra high definition visuals and nice colors. A negative of this console is that it DOES NOT have the ability to play UHD discs. It can only play blu ray and dvds. Any 4K video content played has to come from streaming sources like Netflix or the like. That's a big let down cause the Xbox one S can play UHD discs. If you already have a PS4 I don't think it's worth the upgrade unless you're a hardcore gamer or can take the wallet hit. But if you don't have a PS4 yet and are debating as to which to get, get this one for sure. Or just wait for XBox's project Scorpio to come out.

Nice upgrade from original PS4, but not complete
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After purchasing a new LG OLED, I had to take advantage of the 4k & HDR abilities with a new PS4. I'm entrenched in the Playstation universe, so I never gave the Xbox serious consideration. I like the PS4 Pro, it does a great job with 4k & HDR games. Additionally, it does a good job of helping to boost non 4k games beyond what an average PS4 could do. That being said, it's disappointing this doesn't include a 4k Blu Ray player. Also, the design is still lame and needs some work - Sony continues to mess up the most simply part of the PS4, the power & ejects buttons. The small capacitive buttons on the original weren't good and were easy to mix up, the new PS4 Pro doesn't help solve that problem unfortunately. All in all though, a solid upgrade if you have a 4k & HDR TV. If you don't, save your money and keep your original PS4.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Playstation 4 Pro because of the 4k feature to go with my 4k TV. the game play, colors are incredible. PlayStation for life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t compare this to the XBOX because all I’ve ever played is PlayStation and that reason is Sony has never given me a reason to play anything else. The graphics for the games are amazing. It’s basically a computer with a remote control hooked up to your television. Even though you have to pay for PlayStation plus it’s still worth it with everything you get out of it. Just make sure you take advantage of what your paying for.

This is worth the upgrade for sure!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told that the pro had much more processing power and added UHD 4K capabilities, along with true 60 hertz frame rate output, whereas the original PS4 was only doing 30 Hertz and 1080p HD output. Those are just two of the specific advantages of the pro. My other favorite is the improved quality of the VR system through the pro over the original PS4. These features are especially obvious when playing games designed for the pros processing capabilities. They look a million times better and have much more detail and speed.
