The best console for my Sony 65” 4K tv, I enjoy my games in 4K picture

Really good graphics on a 4k ultra hd t.v. and also upscaling is goid on non 4k tvs

Really nice upgrade from PS3, except for surround sound output and no solid state drive (SSD) option. The PS3 supported 7.1 audio through the HDMI port. For the PS4, you can only get 2.0 stereo over HDMI. You need to use the optical audio out TOSLink port on the PS4 to get anything above that. You also need to set the audio output option in the movie player application to use anything above 2.0 stereo, which is the default setting instead of something that supports 5.1, 7.x or 9.x surround sound. It was baffling to me why a game played natively in 7.1 surround sound while a Blu-Ray disc only played in 2.0 stereo until I found the setting.

It’s a good size console fits anywhere. Doesn’t heat up very much.

My fault. I did not knew the difference. But when you get a open box, geek squad certified excellent means it’s been inspected and erased, in this case, and is ready to go. Nothing wrong with the one I purchase, but it came with the previous owner profiles, with was a little bit time consuming to erase. I purchased my PS4 during pandemic. I usually don’t purchase open box, but because game consoles are selling really fast, I decide to purchase as soon it became available online. It’s in perfect condition. No scratches or marks. It was just no erase, but like I say, it was my fault no to read the differences.

The PS4 is very user friendly. I love the 4K gaming on the PS4 pro!

I mostly use it for gaming and I purchased it with horizon zero dawn. Incredible!

The PS4 Pro does what I want it to and does it well. That being said, if you're looking to upgrade, you have a launch PS4 and you don’t plan on getting PS VR, then this isn’t really worth the $400 msrp, I'd suggest the PS4 Slim instead. But if you want to delve into PSVR, then this is absolutely a must-have console, as you will have a smoother, less nauseating experience.

Good upgrade to the base ps4 model. You won't see the upgrade in all games as they need to be patched after release or developed ahead of time. Future games should really take advantage of the extra horsepower.

I was a little aprehensive at first but with a 4K TV I thought I'd see if the ps experience was made better with this beefed up system and it differently does. The up-scaled video is fantastic with deeper more vibrant colors with 4K HDR video and games looking absolutely amazing. I do recommend this system upgrade but ONLY if you have a 4K TV to take advantage of the upgrade.
