Awesome Birthday gift

He loves to play Fortnite. Yes I would recommend this console for a boy. It's also entert6when you have sleepovers. I just wish it came with a second controller. But a nice device I must say.

Total Entertainment Machine

I bought this product as a special request by my son and grandson as a gift (since they have same date of birthdays). They said they enjoy playing games and watching 4k movies with this system. It was definitely well worth buying this PS4 Pro

HDMI issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is not bad as a DVD Player, gaming system, or for streaming 4K if you can find 4K to stream. I doesn't have a 4K DVD Player also when you run it through a receiver you have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in in order for the PlayStation to continue to out put HDMI signal when you switch between applications on the PS4 or the receiver. Very annoying. Sony said they can't help with signals running through receivers and I should just connect it to the TV only. Lame excuse.

Awesome Console

All arround the styling and functionality are great. I also have a 4k tv which is where this console really shines. I didnt realize how much detail was missing before i switched. I would highly reccomend this especially if you have a 4k tv!

Long live Sega, but this will do fine

I don't forgive Sony for killing the Dreamcast with the PS2, but here we are. They have the best games today. I got the Pro version to support 4K TV better.

Upgrade from PS3 to a PS4 Pro

Got the PlayStation 4 pro. I'm an avid PC gamer who dabbles in console from time to time. I like that PlayStation doesn't require proprietary hardware. Also like the fact that they never tried to do gaming keys for disk play.
