i purchase the pro thinking it would increase my viewing pleasure but I can't tell the difference. Games runs the same. not a big enough improvement to make the purchase again

I first purchased the PS4 Pro before purchasing a 4K TV. Even only using 1080p capability, the Pro still delivered in spades. It ran many (though not all) games at higher frame rates, or with more detailed graphics thanks to supersampling. In particular, Final Fantasy XV was a night-and-day difference, and Titanfall 2 looked unbelievable. However, it was when I purchased a 4K TV that it really dawned on me what a great console this was. Using 4K and HDR, games like Gran Turismo Sport, Assassin's Creed Origins, and Star Wars Battlefront II look an entire generation ahead. Many games also include multiple options that allow you to tailor your experience how you like it best...be it with higher resolution or better performance (or both). One thing I must point out, however. The PS4 Pro provides an incredible gaming experience, but if you plan to do a lot of movie watching you may want to do a little more research. The PS4 Pro does not include a 4K UHD Blu-ray drive, so you're still limited to 1080p Blu-rays. As for streaming options, you're only limited to Netflix' selection and some YouTube videos. Sadly, and bafflingly, the Vudu, Hulu, and Amazon Video apps do not support 4K UHD on PlayStation 4 (while they do on Xbox). Hopefully this will change in the future, but as of now, the pickings are slim. So for games, this is a great choice for a console. It makes games look better than I thought possible, and is well worth a purchase!

It is a good machine, with a few drawbacks. Lack of support for 4k in many apps makes this my second choice for video streaming.

4k games? not really. UHD player? nope. I got this console in hopes of playing console games a bit smoother.. but it really doesn't even achieve that in most instances.

It's a great system I have the regular PS4 and can't tell much of a difference I really wish it had a 4K blue ray player thow I would say that's the buggiest downfall.

I try to stay current on consoles, but there isn't really anything special about this latest PS4. I really was wondering why it didn't even offer a game with it either

Great system but after 2 week of purchase the software keep on asking for update that wont update. Otherwise is great. Hace to return for new one.

I got this because I wanted to get 1080p remote play to my PC. While it is better than 720p obviously, its still a bit pixelated. I am not super impressed with this.

Every since getting call of duty cold war my playstation keeps saying it's corrupt.....smh Hopefully it can be fixed.

Its really nothing new. Sony has taken advantage of people's hardware obsession and this is the result. Dont buy unless you want a slightly better experience.

Its a ps4 but with slightly better hardware. The main benefit to me is that it runs quieter than my leaf blower regular system. Has lots of bugs with hdcp

IF you don't have a ps4 then this wouldn't be a bad way to go for the extra 100, but its not worth it for just the small sometimes unnoticeable upgrades.

It works as expected but nothing more. It's not anything extremely amazing. It was slightly frustrating getting my Hybrid drive working on it.

Average game console, there were no given bundle to accommodate the price, like a complementary game with the console.

I bought the PS4 as a gaming console for the family. We also bought the accesories to play farpoint. It has been a very interactive experience.

The game graphics are amazing on a 4K television. For gaming this is great and if Sony would have included a 4K blu ray player I would have kept it.

Had bought one was not working probably return back too bb for exchange since no problem with it

Ordered online and shipped to home. Worked for a month, power outage fried it. Paid 50 bucks for geek squad protection, well that doesnt cover power outage situations that cause software issue's. (But if I accidentally drop off a cliff while mountain climbing it's all good) so had to pay 40 bucks to have them (look) at it to determine the issue. Plus 5 bucks for a USB to install new software. That took 2 days.......turns out they couldn't fix it so it must be a hardware issue and need to send it to Sony. This is the last update I received from best buy...... 3 days go by 5 counting the weekend so I call the store to inquire about the situation. I'm told Sony has a replacement in process to be shipped but it could take up to 30 days and in which case if it has not arrived I will be given store credit. (PS4 Pro)s are far and few between these days apparently. By the way they refunded me the 45 bucks for the service charge and flash drive. And was speedy about it. That's the only good thing I'll say about this.

Always had Playstations since they came out. Bought this console about a month ago and recently the hdmi cable gave out. Overall great system.

Instructions were a little confusing, and it took some online research to find out that this does not play music cd’s.
