Its the same system. Ps4 has hdr so it really doesn't make a big enough difference imo. Also the "upgrades" that boost the pro are pretty lackluster. Im regretting the upgrade no 4k dvds, no true 4k, dont waste your money wait on ps5 or better yet buy a gaming rig. For 999.99 you can have something that will outperform a ps5 with a few upgrades.
