I was excited, but I tell you straight, it runs hot, really hot, my friend has exchanged three of them, his issue doesn't resolve. I have LGs Flagship 4K SUHD UHD IPS 4K Quantum HDTV with the correct cables. The PS4 Pro right out of the box won't produce an image on screen. I had to hook it up to my old 1080P LG Flagship and do updates first. I then got an image on a re power up of both. I then turned it off and rebooted it, guess...no image again! It's not LG, it Sony. This was NOT ready for 4K, you can only use the older 2160 display setting and the screen flickers contstantly, like it has a hiccup, then it either disappears or keeps doing that. I considered exchanging it until my friend said same thing. I'm techy, if I can't resolve this, it's going back, 500 for it and the warranty and it's a paper weight right now? Unacceptable! It may be faster, overclocked, etc. but without the right software/firmware....it's junk and right on their website. NO ETA ON KNOWN ISSUES TO BE RECTIFIED. I CANT BELIEVE. THE LAUNCH WAS SO GREAT AND THIS IS SUCH JUNK. THE XBox One S 2TB on the other hand, BOOM! Everything spot on other than a touch of initial start up latency during game load up, which I am sure will be fixed in patches. Sony... get it together, your launch dominated, this is terrible, saying nothing of the fact that it's missing a UHD drive that you have proprietary ownership of. At this rate you will lose all when Scorpio hits. I'm a fan of both, you have a lemon here. Buyers Beware!

Omg playstation wants us to buy a 4k model and there is no 4k Blu-ray player. Please someone get me a tissue. Lol its a gaming console. I bought my system to play. You want an all-in-one entertainment system? Go to Xbox.

Definitely a nice and welcomed upgrade from the original PS$. The PS4 pro is great. And when paired with a Sony X900E TV they are a amazing duo combined that's what i have mine hooked up too. Higher resolution with 4K HDR support and plays your games at higher refresh rate. I highly recommend it to anyone that's looking for a console to buy.

I got a chance to test the system out. Graphics are awesome if you have a smart TV with 1080p. One problem is that it wont play 4k Movies even tho it has 4k picture quality.

I will still buy this because i already have an xbox one and wanted a ps4 for single player games. what im lost why why people care so much about how it plays movies? i thought the whole point was so you can play games on it and have fun? when you shop for a new DVD player you dont judge it by how well it plays games do you?

Can't get my kid off this or on to the XBox 260. My only issue is that this purchase and several other large ones were not posted to my Best Buy account, therefore I am missing many points. Can someone at Best Buy remedy this for me now? I don't want to have to make a phone call or come to a store to get this done.

I got this in November When it 1st came out along with a Hisense 50" 4k tv with hdr. All positves considering it has a 1tb hdd and about 1.5 times gpu power. Though would've been nicer if the hdd was ssd instead. And I don't care about not being able to play blue ray discs since I download all my games and movies.

I recently purchased the PS4 Pro after not having a PlayStation in years. Hd quality is better than any device I have currently that have HD or UHD capabilities. I do not mind about the missing Blu-Ray player bc its cheaper to download it than buy a disc much less you might only watch the #30 movie once....

I'm really excited about the PS4 Pro I just recently sold my PS4 and I'm awaiting the release of PS4 Pro. The playstation 4 original was a great console and this one out of all the versions of playstation 4's will suit me the best. 4K compatibility and HDR I need it. I'm so excited about it
