So the majority of the posts that give the PS4 pro a good rating, base their opinion on the fact that it is for GAMING. Well how can you deliver 4K content on a standard blu ray disk. Short and answer, you can't. Up scaling is not true 4K. I have been a long time Playstation player and advocate. But this round goes to Xbox. They have a larger hard drive, play UHD, and have backwards compatibility. If you want to give a fair review do a fair comparison. Compare the features to the Xbox One S. It just doesn't stack up.

The ps4 pro looks amazing. I'm happy I decided to upgrade.

I had the slim and exchanged for the Pro for 4K support.

It costs $100 more than the S and it comes with half the memory and it doesn't come with 4K but looking at the price I'm not surprised. So basically if you want 4K just wait for the scorpio or build a PC. I'll be purchasing this since the ps4 is the only gaming device I'm missing as I have been waiting for enough exclusives to find it worth the buy and it seems it is finally time. Still very disappointing as I wish sony would compete because when companies compete the consumers win.

Why on earth Sony did not include the 4k blu-ray playback? i did use it for a while but i decided to return it because i still felt that the original ps4 was good and powerful enough its not worth the upgrade i suggest you send less money and go with the Xbox One S simply because you are getting more for your money and also cheaper than being compared with the PS4 PRO and most 4k's are smart tv's so netflix and amazon video is already 4k supported within your smart tv's apps

Pretty sure they sold me a refurbished PS4 Pro and branded it as "new." It only had a 500GB HDD when they are supposed to have a 1TB.

Less than 40 games are enhanced as of this review. Runs as loud as the original PS4. Still no PS3 compatibility.

If you are in the market for a PLAYSTATION 4 PRO there is something you should know & Trust me it will save some headache's) ! I changed my Email the other day and forgot i had 2 step verification set up ( my account would auto sign in ) . I also changed my phone number a while back & forgot that too. I went to log into my account and could not because i no longer have the phone number for the 2 step verification text message! I Called Customer support & was told 48 hrs. I then called back in 48 hrs & was told the next day it would be working. It's now 96 hours or 4 days later customer support is saying they are still working on having security disable 2 step verification for me. Worried i am not going to get my account back i asked if i can request my credit card to be disabled so i am not charged for anything. No problem it was deleted he even told me how much credit i have in the store account! This agent has the ability to delete credit cards but not able to disable 2 step verification. i have 11 platinum trophy's Skyrim is 1 of my platinum's close to 850 hrs of game play lost everything i have worked for gone. Just a short rant of my disgust.. there needs to be another way to solve problems like this without having to jump thru so many hoop's

I purchased this item on Black Friday and received it with an HDMI cable that was not working. Needless to say, it was scary setting everything up and not seeing anything show up on the television. When the HDMI cable was changed, we breathed a sigh of relief that we did not receive a completely faulty console. Aside from the faulty cable, it has been operating fine so far.
