I got this system back in April to play FF7 Remake after my job provided me with a gift card large enough to buy it for doing some extra work related to the pandemic. I had very low expectations going in, had planned to just play FF7 and probably sell it. I have always been an Xbox user. Although I played the PS1 and PS2 a lot (i've never actually once played a PS3), i've never owned a PlayStation. Soon thereafter the ecosystem of exclusive games and perks for subscriptions sucked me in. I had a 12 Month PSnow and PS+ subscription by April. I upgraded the hard drive to a Samsung 1TB SSD about a month ago and while it isn't earth shattering, the performance is definitely improved. I am using that and the original HDD in an enclosure and now have close to 2TB of games for my system. I gave my Xbox One X to my kids and have been gaming exclusively on the PS4 for a few months now. It is my favorite console ever. I will be getting a PS5 and handing this down to the kids, but i'm in absolutely no hurry as there is a tremendous backlog of games and i'll never get to them all.

Bought the PS4 Pro to update from the PS4 to get more memory and better graphics.

Upgraded from my regular 500GB PS4 to a PS4 Pro and it was the best decision I've made with any video game product. The extra hard drive space alone was great but another thing I was very pleased with was how the Pro runs so much smoother and quieter than the regular system. Whether you're a casual or hardcore gamer, I highly recommend upgrading to a Pro. Worth every penny.

I got a day one edition PS4 and finally decided to upgrade to a Pro. It was easy to set up and transfer my data from the old PS4 to the Pro. I used a ethernet to do it when I was setting up the Pro. Also the picture looked so much better on a non 4K tv so I eventually had to upgrade my tv as well to get the full effect and i have not been let down. Wish I purchase one sooner

Originally, after spending so much on a new TV, I was going to wait it out, but when I was using the regular PS4 into my new 4K TV, it didn't upscale that well. Not sure why cause my AppleTV looks fine. But, I decided to buy the Pro anyway and no regrets whatsoever. I figured I was gonna buy one anyway. So, if you have a 4K TV and are into gaming and are fussy with how the graphics look, buy the Pro.

It is totally worth it to upgrade better graphics and all round better machine

Easy device to set up and enjoying it as a family.

Works well, does output in 4k. Getting HDR outout can be difficult (I have a Samsung SUHD 8 series). Probably not worth the cost to upgrade from a standard ps4 unless you need more storage (this comes with a 1TB).

Wonderful upgrade from my well used PS3. Glad I made the jump for the 4K Pro version.

Got it as a promotion offer for 1 year no interest payment. Staff was great and product works well. Streaming movies and playing games with my 5 year old.

Has held up to moving, and hot temperatures. Super fast and awesome graphics.
