I just purchased the PS5 so now I have both Series X and PS5..The only thing I feel the Ps5 has over the series x is a better interface and the controller feels much better in hand. With Xbox I had to immediately go out and purchase a rechargeable battery pack which kind is suck considering the $499 price and on the Ps5 it comes standard.Other than that both consoles are Awesome gaming machines. Not considering the game lineup is lacking on both sides but the performance is unreal!! The better you’re Tv the better your experience

I got this PS5 courtesy of BestBuy Total Tech at a time they're hard to come by. Best investment, ever! It was shipped to the local store a few days later and pickup was amazingly easy. My nephew was pleasantly surprised and it was ready to go right out of the box. I didn't get any games, but he loved Astro's Playroom. Highly recommend it for any kid of any age. I would recommend getting a 2nd controller and a dual charger if you manage to get one for yourself or a loved one.

The PlayStation 5 offers a prime introduction into a new era of consoles. Nothing illustrates this better than its Dualsense controller, which enables motion control, adaptive triggers, immersive vibration, and much more. The prospect of future titles such as the sequels to God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn, coupled with these new features make me excited for what's to come to the console, an excitement I hadn't felt with my time over the past few years on the Xbox, as Sony's exclusives shine over anything Microsoft has to offer.

The digital model looks better than the disc one to me. Its quiet and the exclusive games are great. The dualsense is amazing. Sleek.

As expected and more. Super fast compared to the PS4. Have been using it regularly for a little over a year now and it's holding up.

Great console with way better performance and no fighter jet noise coming from it like my PS4 PRO,it’s so so quiet with all graphical demanding games,I was lucky enough to get one here at Best Buy online app and love the system they set up for me to check out with ease,sort of like a digital ticket they send to my email and complete check out with calm, instead of fighting the horde of scalpers, I also used curbside pick up and choose the store that was closest to me which took about a week before it was ready for pick up

The system was worth the wait. I love how it's fluid and how Sony Ent went back to the beginning by giving you a little game to play on the system by itself without you having to buy a game. You get a full game in the world of the inner workings of the system itself. The system is fluid and the graphics are amazing. I can't wait for more games to come out so I can get back into gaming like I once was. Definitely recommend to buy if you can get your hands on one.

I purchased this for my sons..and well for me if I wanna play. Lol I think it's a great buy. It's upgraded in so many areas...speed, picture, look...so much more. I love you can play most ps4 games on it as well. Oh and it's so cool looking. Looks like a futuristic space ship or something lol it is very big though. Glad I was able to buy one, I had tried many days of following Twitter accts and constantly looking at all the stores online..Best Buy was thee only place th at didn't make it impossible!!! Thank you!!!

This is a really good upgrade from the PS4. Load times to game graphics are awesome. It’s unfortunate Sony didn’t make more than 50 units.

Its runs beautifully. NO FAN!!! No loading screens and incredible graphics. The controller really shines too. They hit it out of the park.

Great console! Quiet and powerful. It's pretty big in size but not that bad. The new games look incredible. I can't wait for future games.

So happy with this Playstation update. Is it absolutely necessary if you still have a PS4? I would say not yet, especially since you need an 8k TV to see it in full effect which isn’t really a thing yet as most people still have 4K. I am enjoying the new controller more than anything, love the haptic feedback and the built in mic. Also, very happy with the speediness of games loading and apps opening/closing. Definitely still very buggy though but looking forward to future updates that will fix them. Overall a beast of a machine.

No issues with the actual console (picked mine up without a hitch early on launch day) and no serious complaints whatsoever. Yes it is quite a large console, but I for one love the look of it; it’s the centerpiece of my home entertainment center. Load times are practically nonexistent, although they have slightly resurfaced with the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077, but that won’t be an issue once the free upgrade to next generation consoles is released. Anyway, the dualsense is truly a wonder—the actuators give the controller a phenomenal tactile feel (just play Astro’s Playroom, even just for a minute to get a sense of what the dual sense is capable of) that creates some mind blowing sensations (the controllers are updated frequently though, so if you use a sold separately charging station most of the time, make sure to plug the controller in to the front or back from time to time to update it when necessary). Last, and this is very important—PLEASE USE AN ETHERNET TO TRANSFER YOUR PS4 DATA/GAMES TO YOUR NEW PS5 AND TO REDOWNLOAD DIGITAL GAMES YOU HAVE OR STREAM FALLOUT NEW VEGAS ON PS NOW. I never used an Ethernet before until my ps5 told me it would take 22 hours to transfer 200 some gbs of data over my purportedly 300 mbps download speed internet. So I went to Best Buy and bought a 25’ CAT 6 maybe? or something Ethernet cord for like twenty some bucks and it’s completely changed how I interact with video games in a profound way bc now I can delete and redownload without worrying about it taking hours (PS: I still have rest mode completely disabled on my ps5. Never had an issue with it but it has caused problems for others and I don’t wanna tempt ol’ fate. Anyway, the PS4 transfer went from a 22 hour download to a 61 minute or so download after setting up a LAN connection with my wifi router. My mbps went from high 2’s and low 3’s mbps to a steady and consistent 200+. Although unlikely lol, I hope this answers even one single question that even one single person may be having. By far the most powerful console. Sleek design, quiet fans and beautiful design. Loads all games quickly and displays them wonderfully.

No other way to put it, this thing is BIG. I also don’t care for the white system either, it gets dirty quickly. My Xbox 360 was gross looking after a few years and I imagine this will be the same. The system is insanely fast compared to the PS4. Load times are minimal. Hard to to judge the games based on the limited launch titles, but Spiderman is amazing!

It’s a solid console with a lot of potential, but right now there’s pretty much just Demon Souls and Spider-Man. Also, Cyberpunk runs fine on it. New controller is REALLY nice, and Astro’s Playroom does a great job showing off the new features. Runs PS4 games a little better than the PS4-Pro, but it’s nothing crazy. Can’t say much on the load times, as I’ve had an SSD in the PS4-Pro forever, but I’m sure it’d be a huge difference coming from the old HDD. Grab one if you can, but it’s definitely NOT worth paying a scalper.
