I am so happy I was able to purchase one in October! My ps4 died on me in August so decided to try for a ps5! I've had a great experience with my ps5 was able to download and play all my games! The PS5 compared to the ps4 is much faster and I love the new dual sense controller! I do have two cons with my experience (4 stars). Number one is the storage. You will definitely need to buy some type of external storage. This being the digital version it will require so much more storage for all your games. Number two is actually the durability and quality of the controller. My controller recently suffered from drifting. I tried some YouTube videos and nothing. I contacted Sony and sent it to be fixed and replaced. I am currently waiting for my controller to be returned to me. As of right now I cannot play any ps5 games since those require a dual sense controller. I can play ps4 games with my dual shock controller. I read online that a lot of people have been experiencing the same problem with their dual sense controller. It's been very disappointing

Yes it’s slightly bulky, but it’s super quiet and runs very smooth! The main attraction is really going to be the remote control.

A wonderful piece of equipment. I would suggest that you obtain an external HD for the games you plan to download. They occupy a good number of space.

Best console made by Sony! Runs smoothly, load times are insane, and the controller is unlike any other! Definitely better than Xbox

Aside from not being able to stick them adequately, PlayStation 5 has been a great win for Sony. The exclusives are amazing and growing rapidly. The graphics are truly awesome. And the new controller has been such an improvement over the PS4 controller especially if you have giant hands like me. One of the main reasons I primarily used my Xbox One instead of PlayStation 4 was the ergonomics of the Xbox One controller. Well things have changed anc I now truly enjoy using the new DualSense controller.

Was an Xbox boi for years, finally made the switch cause I couldn’t find an Xbox in stock, at first I was like “what did I do!?!?”, took me about 6 days to fall head over ankles completely in love with it. The load screens are so short, you can’t even read the “tips” they sometimes display quick enough. The graphics are beautiful, and the way it syncs up to your tv, coming on automatically when turning on tv with remote or turning off when setting tv on a sleep timer, it’s a beautiful thang.

Still going strong over 3 years later. Runs very smooth and quietly.

PS5 is a amazing console,fast load times, stunning graphics and very easy to use. I think sony did great this time with PS5

I was lucky to get my hand on this powerful console on February. It still runs smoothly and perform very well (*I have spent at least 20 hours every week since I got it). It is a little bit noisy when I put my disc in, but it runs quietly after 10-15 secs. Definitely worth buying!!! If you have the chance, get the game - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, so you can fully take advantage of haptic feedback. Besides, my controller still runs good- no drifting issues so far.

excellent game play and graphics. Very fast speed, no lag time or glitches. The change in the dualshock controller is nice too.

Great Console got this during pandemic and gifted it to my nephew he loves it and still playing with it.

The console itself is beautiful and performs well! The updates to the PS4 games make it visually stunning. The controller itself is phenomenal and interactively dynamic. The controller seems quite fragile, and I can see how one could break this, so be gentle with it. I look forward to seeing and enjoying new games for the console! My negative feedback for this is the console itself can be quite loud when the fan is spinning and the console under load. I would avoid placing this in an enclosed area.

Really great console, I got this for Christmas last year and i've gotten a ton of games and truly enjoy it.

So glad to finally have gotten my hands on this. It is definitely a much needed upgrade. It processes faster and I’m still able to play a couple of the games I had with the older model. I also got an extra controller which is essential. It was easy to assemble but does take up more space so I had to reconfigure my set-up a bit. Would recommend upgrading your tv as well to get the full impact of the specs. The wait was long and arduous but it was worth it!

For next gen first party Sony games that are best in class there is only one choice for you. Furthermore. even though Xbox Series X had a smaller edge in performance on paper when the rubber hits the road PS5 tends to run third party games just as well and in most cases better. Overall, the system is good but it does need some UI and functionality improvements with regards to storage. There is no doubt that Sony will improve the console and since it's difficult to find I would wait if you cannot pay MSRP.

Truly next gen experience. Revamped UI menus. New controller is amazing. Super fast load times! Only downside is how huge it is
