Works so fast, clean and powerful. A fantasy in another world

Can’t believe I finally got one. After many attempts, certainly lived up to expectations. Games load very quickly, and the new controller is cool. Is a decent amount bigger than the ps4 and thus takes up more space. Big fan, and definitely worth the wait!

Finally able to buy a PS5 from Best Buy after multiple tries from here and other stores. Using Twitter stock alerts helped a lot, avoid scalpers. PS5 so far so good, great graphics and fast. Looking forward to upcoming games and improvements that PS5 can provide.

So far very impressed by this console. Instantly saw the advances from the PS4. The DualSense has a lot of possibilities that I’m very excited to see what they do with. Not only a great starting lineup of games, but many PS4 games are getting upgrades for the PS5. Very satisfied.

In my opinion, the PS5 Console with Disc Drive that I purchased is stunning, to say the least, not to mention the artistic design is original and appealing. With its blazingly fast SSD, games load so quickly and the features that the complete overhaul of the UI, makes the life of the gamer easier. While simultaneously improving the overall immersion courtesy of key new technologies like the innovative DualSense controller, 3D audio, and hardware-accelerated raytracing. It also, plays practically every PS4 game from a bulging back catalog, meaning that the previous platform has not been left behind. I do wish the Internal storage space were larger but, according to Sony, there will be Storage Chips available in 2021 that will facilitate that. The DualSense controller makes the most of the opportunities that a new console generation provides, it's simply innovative to say the least. I don't have time to go into the rest of my review there are simply too many.

Great new design. Fantastic UI in the dashboard. It’s bigger than I expected in person. Very lucky to get one on launch day. The only thing I don’t like are the white controllers - it looks great but gets dirty very fast. The white console doesn’t look as dusty as a darker console.

Nice improvement over my PS4. Ability to add extra hard drive space is also a great feature to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling to play different games. Really love backwards compatibility with PS4 to avoid having two consoles hooked up in my living room.

this console is definitely worth the wait. the UI and experience is so smooth, and the specs are fantastic (and the dual sense controller is too cool with all of its features). Even if you don’t have that many ps5 games yet, the console will make your ps4 games look amazing.

MY GOD, im someone who is lucky enough to snag a new playstation every launch, and i must say this is the best playstation by far, graphics 10/10, Speed 10/10, design 10/10. If you are able to find any in stock, this is a no brainer purchase for playstations or gaming fans in general.

Another win for Sony. I am loving the PS5. The graphics, sound and quality are top notch. Just installed memory expansion, which was super easy to do. Having the capability to play PS 4 games on the 5 is great. My only criticism is price.

I managed to snag one of these babies on a restock just before Christmas and bought it for myself as a present! Was ecstatic since they'd been so hard to find, especially the disc version, which I had to have. Sucks that it only comes with one controller, but that's how it is nowadays. I ponied up for another one later. Also bought a 1TB internal drive that I added to expand the storage -- I'm glad they at least gave us that option this generation. Been working wonderfully so far, and I've gotten used to the new system OS and menu layout coming from the PS4. While I'm not a Sony fanboy, I have been using PlayStation as my console of choice since PS3, and I'm very happy with what the PS5 brings to the table, especially the loading speeds and 4K/HDR.

I gotta say Playstation 5 is one of the best consoles evere. I love the new controller and its haptic feedback, Microsoft should take notes so they can improve their next console and step up their games. I also love how quick the new games load now. Overall, best one so far !!!

Great system, was able to get one just in time to play horizon forbidden west. Before that I’ve been plying the Witcher 3 and even last generation games look beautiful, not to mention the faster loading speeds in big games like the Witcher.

The whole pre-order purchasing process went very smoothly! I pre-ordered this PS5 the day it came out 3 months ago. Bestbuy sent me confirmation texts once my purchase was confirmed, and let me know as it got closer to the release date when they were going to charge my card and how the pickup process would go, and also offered a scheduled curbside pick up time if i wanted. I opted to go in store to pick it up and assumed I’d be waiting in line for a while, but to my surprise, there were no lines at all! I just had to show my ID and confirmation number and the sales associate handed it right over to me. I was in and out in about 1 minute. And my boyfriend was also super surprised at his early christmas present! The PS5 main Home Screen is way more streamlined and easier to navigate than the PS4, and graphics are incredible! Only downside I’ve noticed so far is that it does not have the HBO MAX app, which i use a lot on the ps4, aside from that it’s great!

I’ve been buying PlayStations since the original came out. When I got my first PlayStation the first game I got for is was FFVII. Was pretty cool to play the remake when I got the 5. I have the destiny ps4 edition so since they’re both white they got well together.

I was hesitant to spend this much on a console but since they're so hard to get and I was able to snag an online order after a Twitter alert, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. The speed and graphics are clear strong points of the PS5.

I really don't have the time to play much, but it's a good system. It is huge, kind of heavy, but a beautiful machine. The new interface takes some getting used. The games are beautiful, but take up a lot of memory. You will definitely need to upgrade your hard drive or get an external hard drive. Memory is full already, probably only have like 8-10 games installed. I usually wait to get the new Playstation, I never get it early, but took the plunge this time. If you are a Playstation person, you will like it. It's probably best to wait until they make a slim version, with more storage, and more games are available.

The PlayStation 5 is truly ahead of the game (no pun intended). Although the behemoth of its size is definitely appealing to look at. It’s definitely reasonable considering the power it delivers and gameplay. I say it’s definitely worth it!

My Son Loves His PS5 Console ! Talking about a elusive Lil Sucker after 2 or 3 weeks of failed attempts I got my hands on a few from a store 2 hours a way. Definitely was worth driving to a different location to see the smile on my sons face !!! The things we Moms do for the love our children!!!
