I was lucky enough to preordered one from Bestbuy and I have to thank the store for making it an easy experience. Overall, it's a great machine, I picked it up with a copy of Demon's Souls, and it's been a wonderful experience. It is so fast to load games that I'm still amazed of its performance, the graphics are incredible. Sometimes I just wander around on Demon's Souls just to look at the textures and the weather effects in the game. I know PCs are more powerful but I've always been a console gamer, so for me this is the perfect machine. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to play on one of these without having to pay those astronomical prices scalpers are asking for.

I know it’s really hard to get one right now, but it’s totally worth it! The updated graphics and SSD make everything so much better! And that Dualsense controller is a game changer! Love it!

Easily beats the Xbox when it comes to exclusives and the feeling of a “new” generation of gaming. I am a 13.5 yr xbox live/xbox network member and have been playing since around the Day 1 Launch of Halo 3. Although I clearly do not fit into the oldest-aged population for gaming, I can say that from experience, Xbox hasn’t done much to change the feeling of the xbox. It has remained relatively consistent and that in itself has bored me as each passing year goes by. What little people realize is that both consoles are extremely similar, but the future moving forward is what will have the biggest impact on these next-generation consoles. Playstation has VR releasing and Xbox has just about nothing confirmed from the reports I’ve seen. *Overall this console may have some hiccups but picking this console up 7months after it released has finally become a dream that doesn’t involve only “power.” PS5 is designed differently in that it focuses on performance and download speeds. While the xbox is certainly quick and matches the times of the PS5, it’s the exclusives that it will boil down too. I strongly believe that even if it’s only by a couple of seconds, the PS5 will load it’s exclusives quicker than the Xbox. Although this doesn’t matter, what does matter is how the controller feels. The xbox series x controller is also relatively unchanged with no new and exciting features other than the on-the-fly share button. The Dualsense Haptic Feedback in addition with normal vibration is quite the treat and is one of the primary reasons I invested into the PS5. The xbox kinect was a waste of money even though I still have it and utilize it, but the playstation HD camera is a fantastic accessory that even if it’s only 1080p, still serves it’s purpose. If using a capture card doesn’t suit your need than no problem! The PS5 is designed differently than the PS4 and Sony has decided to heavily implement creativity for those who appreciate streaming more creating digital content. You no longer require the use of a capture card although this is unconfirmed for my personal needs. I just know that you absolutely don’t need a capture card to gain highest benefits streaming. I prefer the way Playstation does it over Xbox now that I am familiar with the Playstation 5 just bc it feels new! Xbox hasn’t done anything to make things feel new and that’s the bc the fan base wants it that way. PEOPLE DON’T LIKE CHANGE. And I am saddened by the xbox community that this is the direction of where things are going bc I WANT CHANGE. Those who can adapt and appreciate chnage will always enjoy life more than those who stick to their bubble. PLEASE BUY THE PLAYSTATION 5 and SUPPORT SONY! Microsoft stopped being innovative after the Kinect failed and motion-detection games ceased to exist. Rip the XBOX. Although if you move to Japan you will find the fastest-growing xbox market in history! HAHA So if you like your xbox that much, MOVE TO JAPAN, they are now booming with the xbox. Unlike the 100,00k pathetic sales of the Xbox One - LIFETIME.

Tried for months to get this and finally did!! Can say it was worth the effort, I love my ps4 but this of course is a massive upgrade, the smoothness of the Home Screen is multiple levels above the ps4, load times are incredible, downloads quicker than ever. What really makes this next gen is the controller! It is fantastic, cannot wait to see how more games include the functions of the controller. Overall it’s a great machine! The ps plus library is a great bonus and astros playroom brings so much nostalgia while highlighting the amazing controller. If you haven’t been able to get one yet keep trying! The PS5 lives up to all of the hype. The graphics are stunning and the load times are instant. The haptic feedback on the controller immerses you in the game. So far no complaints!

The process of attempting to buy one of these bad boys was, as one could imagine, stressful. The process of picking it up after having it be delayed 3 times was equally stressful. The console itself is amazing. 5 to 7 second load times on ps5 exclusive games, graphics that blow the mind, a highly interactive and dynamic controller as well as a easy to use dashboard make this console the best I've ever owned. 10/10 would recommend getting one when you can.

It is an amazing console. The new controllers feel good. Similar to the Xbox One controllers minus the placement of the left analog stick. Transferring my data from PS4 Pro was easy and fast. Games load faster and perform better. New controller has a built in mic. So now NO ONE has an excuse of not having a mic My only complaint is the lack of storage space. With the size of games these days. Consoles should come with a 2TB hard drive. I had to connect an external hard drive for games that I don't care much about loading times. The GUI is a little different but after a little bit. You will get used to it. For example, learning how to shut down the system.

This is probably THE console to buy if you're looking for console gaming.

Absolutely loving this system, from the graphics, sound, fast loading times and even the controller feels and handles better. So far no issues but I did get a 2 year warranty just in case.

Amazing console so far.....this thing is quite huge honestly. Make sure your entertainment center can contain this beast. Super quiet while running and games load quickly. I do miss how you can change themes on the PS4 but it's growing on me. What's really neat is how the majority of your ps4 games can play on this as well. Some even look better and run more efficiently. Make sure you leave room for it to breathe. You wouldn't want this thing to overheat. The white controllers pick up a lot of dirt as well. Well for me anyways especially when you're playing something as intense as Mortal Kombat lol. Can't wait for the next slew of games to arrive.

If you can buy this console do not hesitate, everything is there load times, great exclusives, grapichs and the Dualsense you have to feel it to believe it is a next generation controller.

This thing is a beast. Super fast and runs beautifully. Very cool that it comes with a pack in game (Astros playroom) that is much more than a demo. The controller is the best there is.

PS5 is the next-gen console to own! The PS5 is very difficult to obtain, but once you get it, you won't regret it! Pros: - Graphics: If you have a 4k or 1080p display, graphics are AMAZING! Highly recommend getting a TV with HDMI 2.1 to fully unlock the potential of the PS5. - Fast loading times: The new SSD is super fast and loads games so quickly! - Backwards compatibility: The one thing that Nintendo doesn't have can be found in the PS5. No longer will you have to worry about selling your old games; just keep them and keep playing! Cons - Obviously difficult to get - Some glitches are still present, such as trying to play multiplayer locally (co-op)

Best controller Sony has ever made. System is fairly quiet. Love the short load times. The console is a bit big, but there's a lot of entertainment to be had here in any case.

Waited oh so long for the PS5 to launch and couldn't be happier with the design, excellent controller and performance. The launch lineup is really solid, and I can't wait for more games!

Really am liking this system. Fast loading and looks great on my lg oled. Like the look and the feel of the controller. The system is a beast and my 4K movies and games look fantastic
