Coming from the PS4, the PS5 was a significant step up in performance. The ability to transfer your PS4 games to the PS5 via an external drive saved a lot time and was very welcome. The built-in high speed SSD storage allows for very quick load times, but is relatively limited in size so that you're not going to be able to store all your old PS4 games and new PS5 games concurrently. Highly recommend getting an external Drive to store/play most of your PS4 games and leaving the limited high speed storage for PS5 games and active PS4 games. Unfortunately, after using the PS5 for about 50+ hrs, mostly on AC: Valhalla, I started seeing erratic analog thumb stick drifting on the dualsense controller after 3-5+ hours of continuous use. Weird thing is that the drifting would disappear during the first part of next day's gaming and then reappear after 3-5+ hours and would continue to drift erratically outside of the game and in the PS5 UI. After troubleshooting with Sony support and resetting the controller, I'm in the process of returning the controller for repair. Overall, the PS5 is a very capable and fast gaming console. Highly recommended.

As hard as it is to get, this console holds a great amount of value for only $399 and is definitely worth it. Its exclusive games are extremely replayable and its ability to support 120 fps as well as 4k gaming is amazing. The controller feels and performs great, and has no issues after 20+ days of constant use. The addition of adaptive triggers and haptic feedback in supported games gives a greater and more immersive experience when playing, making the PS5 that much more worthwhile.

Graphics and Loading times are amazing. The incredibly fast loading times alone is a great reason to buy. The dual sense controller is a great improvement over the old dual shock, initially it felt a bit too big but after a month of playing with it I got accustomed to the size which is something you should definitely keep in mind when buying this for younger kids. So much more can be written but I don't want to make this review too long. Overall a 10/10

I picked up the new PS 5 yesterday with a couple of games and I have to say that it looks very impressive so far. What I especially love about it is that you don’t have to wait for a while until the game loads. You can start playing almost immediately. Also the 4K makes a big difference in the quality of the graphics. I am really happy that I was able to preorder it since it was sold out almost immediately. I’m sure that everyone that was able to buy it is really enjoying it right now.

This is faster, awesome grafix and almost the same os as the PS4. the new features it has in the controller is amazing.

Sony really outdid themselves with the PS5! This console feels so next gen and just runs at the speed of light at anything you throw at it. Not only are the graphics amazing, but the controller is truly next level. I can't even explain it in words except imagine how an iPhone vibrates, but throw it in a controller and amplify 4x with other human detecting senses and you have the DualSense. This is the console to have for next gen. Can't wait for the games to start rolling out.

A lucky purchase that came from staying up till 4am and checking the Best Buy site out of the blue. It’s the PS5. Watch a YouTube video if you want the specifics. All I have to say is that it definitely feels next gen with the haptic controller and fast load times. Can’t wait for new games! If you don’t have one yet, please don’t stress and buy from scalpers! I think the game line up is great but if you wait, the games will most likely go down in price (from the whopping 70 bucks).

What can I say, but flawless... Was some work to get one.. Setup was easy and fast.. Using the app makes it nice.. I have a QLED Series 80R and it really show this unit off!.. Loading a game disc for the first time (copying) is the only thing so far that is not so fast. Once game is loaded.. FAST.. You can have the PS5 in a vertical or horizontal position. The Controller *** AWESOME *** !!! Now just bring out the Rachet & Clank game out!!!! Purchased Spiderman & Demon Souls

The ps5 is a wonderful console. The graphics and performance is amazing and the controller is an absolute game changer.

I was able to pick up my PS5 on my birthday after countless days of trying to receive one. It was simple and similar to set up like the prior one before (PS4). The graphics with the disk games from PS4 shows major improvements, and the gameplay feels good also. The ease of the controller and extra features it has like the built in mic are amazing. I’m looking forward to the PS5 games in the near future to really get the full on experience with this amazing console.

Although there are not many PS5 exclusive games at the moment, the benefits of storage speed, Upgraded Graphics (for some games), and the new Controller makes this Console a must-have for any Playstation fan. The only downside is that I had to replace my previous Headset (AstroA50) since these Consoles don't include an Optical Audio port so Audiophile gamers please do your research Menus and overall gaming experience really feel like an Upgrade from last generation

Next gen gaming has arrived. This system will not do you wrong. You can instantly tell a difference, even to the most least tech savvy person how the graphics are enhanced to give a better gaming experience. To sum it up this is a great system to buy once you get your hands on it, load times are great, graphics are great, the revamp of the ps interface is great as well. It may take a while to get your hands on one but when you do you’re efforts will not be in vain.
