Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome! Almost everything I hated about my PS4 has been corrected except the size. This thing is pretty big but it's worth every penny. Plays games faster and the new controller finally feels just right. I've had every Playstation since 1997 and I feel like they finally made the controller the way it should have been since the PS3. Well worth the money.

Fantastic console
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was very lucky to be able to pre-order and pick up on launch day. It is everything Sony says it is. Quiet, lightning fast, and the controller is truly next level. Astro's Playroom that is pre-loaded on the console is also a must play, showcasing the controllers features while also be a nostalgia trip. Spider-Man Miles Morales also looks and feels great on this console. Super happy with the PS5.

Awesome Console!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The console itself is awesome. Loads very fast and UX is as great as the PS4. Cons: This thing is huge... you need a good amount of space for it to sit. Console also sounds like an alien sometimes when loading certain game scenes. (coil whine maybe?)

Amateur Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great upgrade from the PS4 or PS4 Pro of course. The only thing that is really missing out is on games unless if you really want to get the PS5 for Demon Souls, NBA 2K21 nex-gen or Spider-Man: Miles Morales then it is worth it. The controller features are amazing and feels like a premium controller. I am not good at reviewing stuff but YouTube or Google are your best friends here.

The next-generation console.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony PlayStation 5 is the new iteration of what a gaming platform is. It has all the latest technology: AMD GPU and CPU provide the heart and soul of the console with RDNA2 technology for fast and fluid responsiveness! The games today take advantage of the newest PCI-e 4.0 to provide quick and almost instant switching from one game to another. The controller has also been upgraded to give you feedback while gaming; you can feel rain drops along with other bumps and while traversing through worlds. The PS5 has 1TB of onboard storage. That's not very much today, but will be expandable in the future with new very fast NVMe SSDs. These are expensive, but they will be worth the price as game file sizes get larger from the quality you see on your screen. The PS5 offers up to 8K TVs and up to 4K 120Hz gameplay with the addition of HDMI 2.1 (Make sure your TV or monitor has this in order to take advantage of every spec of your new console). This console is a deal for $499. You wouldn't come close to building a PC for that price point that has the capabilities of the PS5. For example, the Nvidia RTX 3070 cost $499 MSRP, and that is only for the video card not the rest of the PC. I recommend this product for yesterday's, today's, and tomorrow's games and video content as this console will further improve over time with apps and updates.

Other then that; very efficient and nice overall to have.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This purchase made my Christmas. I stayed up all night and finally got it at 4:30 am. I was so excited. Had a little delay because when I ordered it I was told I could pick it up on Black Friday but I would get an email telling me when it is ready. Never got it called and called no answer so I emailed finally got an email telling me if they could not fill the order by December 5th they would refund my money. I was really upset because I got this for a little boy who lost his grandmother that he has lived with since birth He watched her battle cancer of the face and jaw for a year and a half. It was a very sad situation especially for an 11 year old boy. The video of watching this child open up that PS5 was such a beautiful sight This little boy was the happiest he has been in a year and a half Thank you for filling my order and making a little boys christmas

A true next Gen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this launch day. Initial set up was a bit slow as I imported data from my PS4 but has been smooth. I found that I had almost filled up the internal ssd so I bought an external ssd and enclosure for PS4 content. I was very impressed with Astros playroom. Free, but challenging. Really puts the controller and its features on display. I've been enjoying Miles Morales in fidelity mode.

Honest Review from a PS5 and Xbox Series X Owner !
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me first start off by saying that I’m not a fanboy. I have the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. I’ve had both systems since their respective day one launches. I love both systems but there are pros and cons on both sides. The PS5 is an awesome system when everything is running as it was intended too. I will explain in a bit. First, I’ll talk about the positives. The user interface in my opinion is hands down one of the best I have ever interacted with. It is gorgeous just too look at if you have a 4K tv or monitor. I am fortunate enough that I have both systems hooked up to the 2020 LG CX 55” OLED. The UI is snappy and very responsive. The only thing is I wish it had folders or just a nicer way to organize everything but that is really just me being a little picky. Next, the Dual Sense controller feels amazing in my hands. It is very comfortable. I like the concept of the adaptive triggers but I have to be brutally honest, I turned off the adaptive triggers when playing games like Call of Duty: Cold War because there was too much of a delay whenever I would try to fire my weapon. Now when playing the included game Astro’s Playroom, the adaptive triggers worked spot on and added a nice touch to the whole experience. Now let’s talk about a few things that some people don’t like to hear about. You have to first understand that this is a launch system and all launch systems always have bugs or little quirks that need to be worked out. So far I have had several occasions while playing Demon’s Souls, Call of Duty: Cold War, Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Godfall where the game would just freeze, stop responding, produce an error code and kick me all the way back to the home screen. The code is automatically sent to Sony by the system so I’m sure they are aware of these issues and are tracking them accordingly. Another issue is that there is simply not enough space on the internal SSD. You start off with roughly 667gb of usable space. I have six PS5 games installed on my internal SSD: Demon’s Souls, Call of Duty: Cold War, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Godfall, Devil May Cry: Special Edition and Astro’s Playroom. I’m already down to a little over 200gb of usable storage. At this rate I would run out if I continue to install PS5 games and Sony has not release a list of compatible internal SSD’s that can be purchased to expand the internal storage. Let me say that by no means should these issues be a deal breaker for you when considering a purchase of the PS5. Given time I firmly believe that Sony will iron out these kinks through future firmware patches and expandable storage. Rest assured you are going to absolutely love the PS5 and feel good about your purchase! I hope this honest review helps you in making your decision.

PS5
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Such an amazing console, everything about it is great, the only thing is that it is big but besides that it’s amazing, the loading time is super speed. The graphics are insanely amazing and it looks nice. The controller is by far the best controller of all time, the trigger feedback and the vibrations makes you imagine like you are actually inside the game. BEST CONSOLE IF ALL TIME

Next Gen You Can Feel
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is everything I could want! Several PS4 games are improved on the console. Playing Ghost of Tsushima at 4K 60 frames makes it feel like a next generation game. PS5 games load fast. The controller is absolutely amazing. If you are lucky enough to grab a console, make sure you play Astro’s Playroom. It’s a great showcase for the controller and is full of PlayStation nostalgia.
