Overall, the console runs very smoothly and I have not experienced any sort of loudness with it. I do recommend when playing games, to choose performance over the resolution. Would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to experience next gen even though we've just merely begun to play those games.

I have a pc with a rtx 3080 and let me tell you this piece of equipment is almost up to par. You definitely cannot build a PC at the same price with the same performance. storage space is way limited, so I would go with a disc version instead. I mostly have ps4 titles , and i store those in an external ssd with no problem.

Hard to Get, But Well Worth It

But if you want a real next gen experience with great actual NEXT GEN games, you can't go any other way. I've played through Demon's Souls 4 times, and now I'm having a blast in Ratchet & Clank. My only real complaints are few. First, did it have to be SO big? Second, the storage is not sufficient.

Great console but not without its shortcomings

The haptic feedback in the controller could be great if games take advantage of it. The SSD makes load times impressive. There's no 3D audio for games yet unlike the Xbox which is silly. It also doesn't support Dolby Vision for 4K blurays, but hopefully they patch that in.

An awesome gaming system (if you can get one)!

I usually play sports or racing games, so this is a great system for that. The biggest advantage the PS5 has over the XSX is the controller. The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback really makes the games more immersive. Definitely worth the money.

If you don't want to spend 1k+ on a halfway decent pc setup, this is definitely the way to go. The controller feels comfortable and the load times are fast. I do recommend you spend the extra for an expanded hard drive. If you play warzone it will eat up a huge chunk of space.

Did not open till Dec 25th. I have had every PlayStation console and purchased all of them on release day. This one is as good as they all say. Only negative is minimal games available in the PS5 format. Positive is that it is backward compatible. Graphics and load times are excellent compared to the PS4.
