sleek, powerful, advanced. These are all adjectives that best buy would probably like me to use in this review. The truth is, that it's a very good console that is worlds faster than its predecessor, but I has a few drawbacks of its own, like the fact that they do not provide a charging cord with your controller (it's a standard size so finding a cord isn't a problem, but it's annoying that I have to do that in the first place) and the fact that you can't store PS5 game data on an external hard drive which eats up all of your systems memory real fast.

Amazing console. Has great games, displays them at high frame rates and resolutions, and of you ask me, has a very interesting look. The controller really feels next generation with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Sony's best console yet! Fantastic graphics and hardware! A very next gen feeling controller! The rumble feels so real at times and the triggers add a dimension to gameplay that has never been felt before! Can't recommend this console enough!

Awesome power, features and game support! The dual sense controller is a gamer changer, hopefully more game developers utilize the features. The console itself is whisper quiet, a little on the big side, but "go big or go home" I say!

This baby is almost perfect. It's super powerful, whisper quiet, and easy to use.... BUT.... it's enormous. and stylistically... polarizing. i know some people love the way it looks, but i frankly think it's ugly as sin. but i still love it.

Getting a PS5 when it’s in such short supply was very stressful but my purchase was not. Plus it was ready a day early! Didn’t have to bother with ridiculously priced bundles and unneeded equipment. Very happy with the entire experience.

Awesome console. Very hard to find but worth the wait. Very fast and the Dualsense is mind-blowing. I believe there the new generation is based on games taking full advantage of the Dualsense and the speed of this console.

After trying for months to get one, I can say it definitely lived up to the hype. I’ve played Spider-Man remastered on it and it’s like a whole new experience, especially with revamped photo mode. Would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing and powerful console. Quiet unlike the PS4 Pro. But struggles to fit in any entertainment center either standing or laying down. Not yet the super console we've been waiting for and lacking in games but give it time.

Worth the wait and hype, graphics and frame rate is amazing. The dualsense controller is truly next gen and an experience. I’ve had it for 5 months and have not gotten any issues with it. I am totally satisfied with the purchase.

Great if you can get one. Controller is amazing. Completely next gen. I have both the Xbox series X and this and use PS5 much more. Stand when laying down is kind of sketchy, and the console is huge. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Very nice system with next gen graphics. Super fast ssd. So far no issues or any problems playing my ps4 library. It actually makes the last gen games look and play better. I would recommend getting this system if you can get a hold of one.

Great console and absolutely amazing controller build. Extremely quiet compared to the PS4 Pro. Graphics are amazing on a good monitor and insanely fast loading times. Awesome investment and looking forward to playing the new next-gen games!

Great graphics and the Dual Sense controller is awesome!!! Definitely a big leap from PS4. Loading times are cut down dramatically even when using your previous PS4 games!! If you can find one this Christmas, this would be an awesome gift!!

THE PS5 IS AMAZING. I didn't own a PS4 and they've come a long way since the PS3. This thing is stylish, fast, and can do it all. True 4k output is awesome. Get PS+ and get tons of games to play on this thing.

Writing this review after a long time since I finally got this. Definitely has got better load times than ps4 and even better graphics! Although 825 GB SSD is a disappointment with additional 1Tb reportedly half the price of a console!

Have had this system since the day it came out! Has held up quite well so long as the playstation is shown some love and care. I open my console on both sides and dust it out every month or so. Also use cooling accessories to assist console with overheating if you plan for long gaming sessions that may be demanding of the console. Games look beautiful and run flawlessly. The power this system brings to the table is impressive for the price! If ya go with it, have fun!

Having fun with this beautiful piece of hardware. Makes older games faster and the newer games look amazing. Got lucky at retail so it was definitely well worth the money spent. Wishing all luck in obtaining one for themselves!!!

The PS5 is easy to set up and has quick load times! The controllers are awesome because of the haptic feedback. Best Buy's purchasing process was very good and the pick up went smoothly, too. I would definitely recommend the PS5.

Amazing system. It’s big and bulky though but nobody is buying this for it’s looks. The load times are almost none, so if you die in a game you will be right back in the action in no time. New controller has new features . Definitely worth it
