Fast is the first word that comes to mind. The load times on the PS5 are phenomenal. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is gorgeous and loads in 30 seconds. I'm currently playing FF7 Remake and it runs smooth. The main menu and interface is just as fast and smooth. It's more intuitive to use and makes older consoles feel like clunkers. The controller is so comfortable I forget it's in my hands. The vibrations feel natural and most of the time I don't even notice because it's immersed into the experience. Biggest complaint would be lack of titles. You could easily wait until 2021 when more are available. I think that's pretty typical with any new release though. That's the only thing that knocks the value down. As far as the size of it goes . . . well, don't most people complain about that sort of thing? . . .

Bought this thinking it was a high end toaster but found an even greater use for it as a space heater. Sony doesn't disappoint! This bad boy keeps my room at a solid 85 degrees which is perfect for me. I plugged it in to a TV and found that it also plays media and video games - what a deal! I loaded up the latest shooter, jumped online and learned from many young strangers that my mother has been much more 'active' than I ever knew. Gross. The controllers are a work of art but the materials do taste a little weird at first. Would probably suggest keeping them away from your mouth until they're nice and broken in.

Great console. Extremely fast load times on Playstation 5 games. Added bonus of being able to play my Playstation 4 games as well. No complaints on my part. Be warned that it is a thicc girl so make room for it in your living space.

Sony really hit it out of the park with this one. The design in my opinion is very exotic and a great conversation starter. The time it takes the load games is astonishing and the graphics are superb. This console truly feels next gen.

The machine is pretty big but so far the speed is fantastic. The fan is really quiet and I love being able to play older games that have gotten updates for it. We finally got a real next-gen system with much better specs than what the PS4 had when it first came out. I would rate it higher but the UI could use some work and I'm still annoyed it didn't come with at least a 1TB SSD. It's also still missing some nice features that are on the PS4. Hopefully they come in future updates.

Such a refreshing new experience for console gaming. The SSD makes a world of difference for boot and install time. The dualsense controller is amazing, and the quick game launch and 120hz is fantastic. The 4K player is decent.

Graphics are great and super fast loading screens! But I play mostly sports games, and I was a little disappointed in madden. Hopefully it will get some updates and separate itself from the ps4 version. The controller haptics are a little gimmicky, and I can see myself turning those features off after a while. I'll have to check out some other games that make good use of them first. Other than that, it operates as advertised!

My s/o loves the newest model. He likes that it is much faster me smoother than the last model. I don’t like the bulkiness of it. I guess the size accounts for the speed and memory capability so it’s a sacrifice for a good cause.

This is truly a monster gaming machine. Next gen at its finest. The specs are great but the dualsense controller was truly innovative. The exclusive games makes it truly appealing. This partnered with a PC is what you'll ever need.

Great system. A lot bigger than I imagined but I had room next to my tv for it. Make sure you have enough room and air space as the ps5 has a fan to keep it cool. Great 4K graphics on COD. Not too many games to chose from as of yet.

I haven’t been able to stop playing, Great console and easy to use. Games do take up a good amount of storage but you can always purchase an external storage down the line

Awesome console. Very powerful. I just wished there wee more consoles available. Would like to purchase the digital version for my kids. But overall, great graphics, awesome gaming. Great experience

Amazing product, really enjoying the console. System is nice and quiet and the controller with the heptic feature is great. Games load times are almost non existent for ps5 games and ps4 games optimized for ps5 load quicker as well.

Took some time and luck to get but this is the perfect gamimg system. Love the new controller along with the quick load times and responsiveness. Well worth the wait and not overpaying for it.

This Is The Far Best Console, Yes its Hard to get but once you have hands on it, its pure fun and satisfaction, i have hooked it up with sony tv , the graphics are marvelous, just waiting for the expandable ssd,

Solid build, impressive engineering. The PS5 keeps things simpler than the xbox this time around. both digital and disc versions offer the same gaming capabilities, except one can play only play digital media (as named). On the other hand, the xbox series s is a big step down from the series x. So interesting to see how both companies chose to enter the next-gen market. The PS5 offers a large step-up from the previous generation, even the ps4 pro. It has good backwards capability but definitely not as robust as the xbox series x. It has great bluray movie playback out-of-the-box. Don't hesitate to upgrade if you want experience next level gaming on the console side of things.

The PlayStation Console is huge. Downloading and Performance is very fast. PS4 Games run better and smoother on this system. Use the stand if you have it vertical position! Looks amazing on OLED TV! See a Best Buy sales associate.

Best console I have owned so far, I totally am a PlayStation girl! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is it has froze up once after a Ratchet and Clank update to the point I had to disconnect power. Probably a game issue, but wanted to give my full review. Otherwise, truly beautiful graphics, colors, and speed. Huge plus that you can play PS4 games on it as well. Finally PlayStation got on board. Also, is a 4K blu ray player. I highly recommend getting stock alerts to get your hands on one.

The PS5 is a next gen console done right. It has the design that looks futuristic and the controller is noticeably better than the generation before. PS4 and PS5 games are smoother and load faster. I'm happy with my purchase.
