I stayed up all night for this PlayStation 5! I just can’t explain how happy so was to get one! I’m not sure what I like most, the exquisite design or the super charge I get when I play the games!

It’s fantastic. Load times, HDR graphics, and controller feel and play amazing. The Home Screen is updated without losing that playstation feel and the fan noise isn’t noticeable like in the ps4.

If you can get your hands on one, i would absolutely recommend it! I happened to wake up before 4am CST on the sunday before black friday and managed to snag one. (thanks to my crying 12 month old! i owe him one) System is tank. it's huge! i had to rework my cabinet to make it fit! It boots up fast. has super quick load times. I play Destiny 2 for 80% of my gaming time and the load times now that the PS5 version of D2 has released is a night and day difference to the PS4. It's so fast. The UI takes some getting used to but it's not bad. the controller is great as well. Its easy to set up and being able to transfer my info from the PS4 to PS5 was nice. It still playing PS4 games is wonderful.

The PlayStation 5 is a great console. I love how fast it is and how quite it is too. The gaming experience is so much better and the controller feels great in my hand. Very happy with my purchase

It’s the latest console load times are faster, graphics are improved ( might need a new tv to show the difference) I got the disc version to save some memory down the line and I love having the actual case. Important note the console will download some flies from the disc which will use up memory still which can take up 10-15 min. The disc tray is really loud thought it would be quieter. If you really care about having a disc and case get this if not just get the other one.

I've owned everything from the original to the now Playstation 5. I am impressed beyond explanation. Many folks complaining that there are not enough games available to make it worth the purchase... yeah, you haven't played Spider Miles Morales yet have you? Also... I can play all my Playstation 4 games on it, with less load times, and with better graphics processing and no glitching. Yeah the controller needs charged more often, but who cares, get those steps in. Was it difficult to purchase? YES, had to try 5 times over 4 months to get this (granted I chose only to buy from BestBuy... always will); hint, use OctoShop in Chrome. Thanks BestBuy! You guys always have my six.

Finally got mine, and it's great! The 4k and generally faster speeds are quite noticeable. I'm also waaaay more impressed with the controllers than I would have imagined!

The first thing you’ll notice is the Uber quick console startup speeds and game startups. The console gives off a next generation feel with the new dualsense controller and added haptic feedback, although not many games utilize the many features yet. The one thing is the capacity on the ssd is lacking so unless you have an external hard drive for ps4 games or play few ps5 games, then you’ll find yourself running out of space fairly quickly.

I’m not sure how I was even able to buy this, I went on Best Buy on launch day to buy an RTX 3080, those were impossible and timing out, PS5 was released the same day, after buying the gpu was not possible I went to just check on the PS5 and it allowed me to add it to my cart. Literally had a 5 minutes conversation with my wife before buying because I wasn’t planning on getting one to begin with and went for it, and somehow the transaction went through. It was surreal the day I picked it up because so many issues with orders were happening everyone, this purchase was nothing less than pure luck. I love this console, and I’m happy I bought it.

I've been stuck playing far too often nowadays, even games Ive previously beaten due to the enhanced performance/graphics. Looking forward to the games that push the hardware to its limits

I mean...do I really need to write anything! This is the next generation of gaming! The graphics look A M A Z I N G & I love the feature of being able to play 120 FPS consistently for Cold War. I wish every game could be that way but unfortunately it’s only for games that support the 120 FPS. I’ve been playing more on my PC when it comes to competitive gaming but for a relaxing day go kick back and watch a movie or play some single-player games! It’s definitely worth it! Especially if your budget is this price as custom or pre-built PC’s can be quite expensive. Overall, it’s an AWESOME console and it’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to grab one if they’re lucky!

If you’re a PS fan this is an obvious purchase. Looks great and most game are now 60 FPS. The new controller is more than just a niche. You’ll have to try to understand, very impressive though.

Awesome system! Super quiet and the graphics are GREAT!!!!! I was able to secure two, one for me and one for my 17 year old because I refused to SHARE! Secured both before Christmas!

Honestly, what do you expect? It's next-gen. The console itself to begin with looks like some type of alien object that's casually placed in your living room. The controller is fantastic, much bigger so it can grip in my hands properly now. I always liked the PS4 controller but now holding this I can see how much less of a controller it is compared to the PS5's. Lastly, you honestly won't get the full next-gen experience​ until HDMI 2.1 4k monitors come out that runs over 120hz. So if money is a little tight I​ would wait till it dies down. Not worth paying over retail for this console. So if you were thinking of buying it from those scalpers don't.

Why do we even rate this console? Nothing can compare. The PS5 is ridiculously fast. The controller adds to the game play, especially in Madden 21 when you hear the QB calling plays before snap.

If you got a PS4 haha you have no idea what in store for you. Better looking, better graphics better controller sheeesh better every thing. You need this to Continue giving or you’ll be left behind

So far so good now that being say im rating on the best buy getting it ready 2 days earlier and the ease of buying it online. Cant complain so far downloads going and its working good. If any problems with game play i come back and re rate but for now everything exceptional.

Quality build. Fast SSD. Haven’t experienced any controller issues yet. Ray tracing is legit, and makes games feel 10x more immersive, especially when paired with a capable tv or monitor.

Works much faster than my old PS4. Strongly recommend to purchase the digital version to save you $100, since most of my games can be downloaded online. It’s a little too big as far as size.
